“We recently moved to Evansville, Indiana from Southern California and found Yard Goat because of the Huntingburg Christmas Walk. Taylor, our waitress, made us feel welcomed and took great care of us. My girlfriend has dietary restrictions, so we were surprised to find a cauliflower crust option for the pizzas. We ordered the "Pig Jamboree" pizza (with the aforementioned cauliflower crust) and a charcuterie board, an Irish Red, porter, and a mango sour. Everything was delicious! Yard Goat would be at home in San Diego, Orange County, or LA. We'll be back!“
“I highly recommend The Gashlight. It has a very warm and inviting atmosphere and a nice variety of food choices and the food is very good. The service very nice. You won't regret it!Parking: Besides street parking there is new parking directly behind the building and a back door to access the restaurant.“
“Just a heads up. It is 21 and up all the time here. We came from the campground and had to head down the road to a different Tavern as children can't be here. Just trying to save someone else time as we didn't know and it doesn't say on yelp.“
“Came here for the 2024 eclipse. They were absolutely slammed from the eclipse rush, but everyone was still incredibly cool. The BBQ pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Overall one of the coolest days of my life; very epic.Parking: Parking is spacious along a strip of businesses“
“If you're debating it, do it! They were very busy when we arrived after a long day at Holiday World. Dining room is small, so only about 5 families dining in. But people were coming in to order to go, calls coming in for orders ect. based on this i was worried about quality and wait time. Both exceed my expectations. Made hot & fresh, tasty ingredients, not too much this or not enough of that, and the employees were very friendly and seemed happy to be here. The BEST part of it all, which blew my mind in our current economy, the prices were SO good! [besides drinks lol] Will be back every year when we come to Holiday World forever. Thanks Jenks & Staff!“
“We were there on a Saturday evening and the special was BBQ chicken. Was pretty good BBQ chicken for chicken fixed in an oven. It took way too long to get your meal, unless you were a regular. They got great service. We were from out of the area so we waited for about 40 minutes to get our food. While others around us got their food much quicker. As they seemed to be regulars.Saturday night special was way over priced 2 pieces of chicken and french fries was around $16.00.This is a small local bar and everyone was friendly, except for the bartender.“
“I wanted to try something different today so I ordered the spinach pizza with Alfredo sauce, onions and cheese. The dough tasted fresh made. Very soft with that nice chew. And to bite into this hot fresh cheesy goodness ! My GOSH was it good ! Definitely getting this again ! I wish they would do a basil pizza like this with fresh chopped tomatoes I sure wish they could give this place a little freshening up. Food is great , but it just looks a little drab. I'll be back !“
“Holiday World is where I was jolted on The Voyage and forced into roller coaster retirement until the end of time but I'll never hold it against them.I'm a born and raised Hooiser but had never been to Holiday World! I had always heard about it so was jazzed to check it out. We went for the first time last year and plan to return for many years to come! What's not to love? The holidays are just so cute and thoughtful! They have Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and 4th of July. Each with themed rides! From the music to the flowers - they truly make each holiday feel unique and special! They have both rollercoasters and a giant water park! Complimentary soft drinks and sunscreen included in you ticket. You'll make an investment for the day with tickets being about $60 per person but it's well worth it! First responders get a significant discount!Pro tip: eat a thanksgiving meal! They have turkey and all the sides!“
“This is a little hometown bar. The pizza was a little pricey the one pictured was $27 but it definitely had a lot of ingredients and good flavor. The owner was very friendly and talkative. I got this to go and didn't have to wait very long for it to be made.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar so no children allowed.“
“This is in a tiny town we were driving through and we just felt like having pizza. I checked the reviews and this place won. We were quite pleased with our pizza and the price was right. It's a simple no frills place that did it right! I didn't love the square cuts but it was tasty so that was what counts.“
