“Ordered the Ale Supremo pizza and ended up having to wait about an hour until we got it. No biggie. It happens. The manager (Diane) threw in a large order of wings, refunded our money, AND gave us a $20 gift card. Now THAT'S customer service! The food was absolutely delicious, too. Needless to say, we're Ale Emporium customers for life. Thank you!“

“Great little place. The menu is small, but the food was great! Don't get the nachos unless you have at least 4 people, or you are starving with the munchies from Hell. The smash burger was exactly what you want in a burger and the tenderloin is super thick and juicy.
I would definitely go back again (and bring 3 more people).“

“My friends and I all enjoyed our drinks and food here. The outdoor area is fantastic and quite large. The place was very busy but plenty of staff around and everyone I interacted with was great!

On food, the ordering system is a little confusing. You put your name in and get a buzzer to wait to order. That is fine. After waiting our turn we found out you can't order smash burgers at the bar, it's a separate line outside. Well during the time we were waiting the burgers were 86'd. We ordered pizza instead and enjoyed it still, but most of our party did want to order the smash burger. Just an odd ordering system as a first timer.“

“Overall a great dive bar! My friends and I go to trivia and karaoke on Mondays which is always a blast. Great vibes, and the Grateful Dead theme everywhere is really neat! Pool and darts are fun too.

That said, the place looks sketchy and dead on the outside, but give it a shot!“

“I was there on Monday for live music. The bartender Jessy is amazing. Jacqueline's fried chicken wings are amazing and so hot you can hardly touch them.? Everyone there was very friendly, laid-back, comfortable atmosphere.

“Very informal, which made us feel right at home. Great breaded tenderloin and fries. The soft pretzel with beer cheese appetizer was wonderful. Good selection of beers on tap. Had my first Hopopotomus IPA, and really enjoyed it. Prices were generally on the lower side. We felt there was a lot of value for the money. There is a 3% fee added for use of a credit card but the amount is inconsequential.“

“I travel to Indy once or twice a year, and I make sure I stop at KSR for food and drinks. By far the best family-owned bar and restaurant I have visited in Indy. I highly recommend this place. Do not judge by appearance (which I believe makes it a better experience). The pizza, wings, and sandwiches are off the charts. Hell, the salads look amazing, and I am not a big salad fan. You can tell that if you know me“

“We were apartment hunting and decided to check this out for dinner.
Great ambience and a great place to hang out.
We got a pizza brussel sprouts and a wedge romaine salad.
The pizza was thin crust and had great flavor.
Brussel sprouts was an interesting pairing with cherries and mustard seed...it worked well, I think maybe slightly less of the mustard would have been nice.
The wedge salad is a classic and they did a great job with that.“

“I finally made it to Kilroy's. It was good. My Salmon BLT was delicious (I had it without the bacon) and the broccolini was tasty. My friend had the stuffed breadsticks and southwest eggrolls. Kilroy's is a bar feel. During the time of day we went it wasn't busy but we did have to pay for parking.“

The staff could have been better at coming back to check on us and paying better attention to bringing the correct drinks and returning for refills, but overall, it was a pleasant first-time experience. There was an open comedy mic night, and that was interesting. Mike G and the DJ were great!“

“Dee, and Nick are my main guys man. They always look out for me when I'm there by myself practicing my pool game. They're pretty much like family. Ive never seen the cook before but he cooks his ssa off. Ive never had a bad meal there. The pizza and wings and the Philly cheeses teal egg rolls are my go to. Drinks are reasonably priced and never had a bad cocktail. I always drink a top shelf long Island but the lemon drops are just as good. Definitely always a dope vibe, very diverse crowd, and plenty space. 3 pool tables and plenty chairs to sit and watch the games. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Ask for Dee or Nick! Tell em i sent ya and tip them well!!!“

“Your friendly neighborhood bar! The vibe here is super chill and the staff are awesome — seriously some of the friendliest around. Service is always on point, and Kim makes some of the best high-quality bar drinks you’ll find, all at a fair price.

Now the food… it’s decent, but definitely not the highlight. Some dishes are tasty, but others can be bland, too salty, or a little over-fried. Also, heads up: the kitchen hours aren’t consistent. The bar stays open until 3am, but the kitchen might close anywhere between 9–11pm, so don’t count on late-night eats.“

Shoutout to Amerelle behind the bar — she was friendly, attentive, and clearly knows what she’s doing. Drinks were made well, conversation was easy, and she made us feel welcome without hovering.
