“First bar I've tried in Newcastle. I'm from a city about 1.5hr south. Bar tender was great, drinks were spot on and reasonably priced. Place was clean, waitresses kept tables taken care of from what I seen. I started at the bar then moved to the Billiards area. Everyone one I spoke with was very kind and respectful. The music was classic rock. Witch is not what I prefer but don't have any issues with. It happened to be a karaoke night and it was nice to see that people respectfully cheer each other on. Overall had a good time and hope to stop in again if the opportunity arises.“

“Loved it , however I am the owner and your establishment has not yet been adeemed for business because I haven't received my license yet! This is your all warning to shut the place down you have 10 days non verbal, and I'll will be contacting you for several inspections for state city county ordinance and I did see children at the location of a time that adults were drinking and I am so sure Indiana does not allow children in bars“

“This bar is a local tradition for New Castle. There are regulars at the counter each day. They have pool tables, a juke box and a lively atmosphere. I sampled the steak sandwich and WOW. They have meat from Rihms locker, and mix it with cheese and onions on a buttery grilled bun. Excellent diner style steak sandwich. The decor is ecclectic and plenty to look at while you have your beer. It reminds me of the Toby Keith song, "I love this bar." There are bikers, farmers, firemen, hippies, chain smokers and boozers. You can go here to laugh and have a conversation with a stranger, or sit in silence at the bar with a drink. It is a true classic "dive bar". It is locally owned, and you can tell that the owner truly cares about her patrons. We stopped in on the evening of Thanksgiving. I thought it was so neat that the owner had assembled a Thanksgiving dinner for all of her normal patrons. You don't find a family, "we are all in this together" atmosphere like that very often anymore. Warning: they do allow smoking.“
