“We came in from out of town with family and I have to admit, this place was amazing! Miki did a wonderful job serving us and the food quality was perfect. We brought our 6 yo daughter and they did a wonderful job by keeping her happy throughout to prevent any unhappy child moments. Thank you all for a wonderful dining experience and btw the Miyazaki Wagyu was perfection!“

“We were a group of 5 close friends who had not been together in over 5 years. The booth next to us had three children under the age of 5. They were jumping in the booth knocking into those of us sitting on that side of the booth. They were yelling and rolling around on the floor outside of the booth. Our waitress was informed and said she notified the manager. Nothing changed. The manager never came to their table or ours. Very unpleasant experience“

“We usually frequent a different location, but recently visited your Carmel location and found it to be a great experience. From calling in via phone Gretta was fantastic, warm, and friendly (which seems to be a list skill set for many)Then our server Emily did a wonderful job of taking our order and servicing us. My ribs were dry, but everything else was great.“

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Ocean at Outback, and I can confidently say he made our dining experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, inviting, and made us feel right at home—almost as if we were having dinner in our own kitchen!
Not only was he attentive and kind, but he also brought a great sense of humor to the table, making the meal even more enjoyable. Even during a busy afternoon, he never made us feel rushed, gave us plenty of time to decide on our orders, and checked in on us regularly without being overbearing. What stood out the most was his consistency—he treated every table with the same level of respect and care, which is a rare find in the service industry.
It’s not often you come across a server who truly deserves a generous tip, but Ocean more than earned his 20%—and then some! I’ll absolutely be back, and I highly encourage anyone dining at Outback to ask for him. You won’t be disappointed!“

“This place seems to be not as good as it once was. My French onion soup should have been served hotter. Tomahawk was supposed to be prepared medium rare, it was well done on the edges and too much char, like the seasoning started to burn. Service was good, but our waitress got slammed and became a bit inattentive, which was not her fault. All in all it just didn’t blow me away like I expect when I come to a fancy steakhouse and spend $300 for 2. I won’t be back for a very long time, if ever. Too many other good choices.“

“Shrimp stacked trout is a fresh change from most other restaurants. The bier battered cod was great... not a heavy batter... crisp the way it should be. Desserts were good albeit the apple blueberry cobbler kinda blended; however, the flavor was still great. The chocolate brownie ala mode was presented perfectly and tasted just as good as it looked.

“First time experiencing Firebirds. My family enjoyed it. Only thing I didn't care for was the parmesan mashed potatoes. The outside was a little hard and they were also lukewarm. The salmon, outstanding. Service, top notch. The attentiveness of the servers was extremely professional. We live about 40min away but I'm sure we will be back. I also love the fact that other guests sang happy birthday to my son and the staff watched and smiled. Friendly atmosphere, felt welcomed and comfortable. That is much appreciated given the world we are living in today.“

“Loved this restaurant! My husband and I went on Friday. Had the best meal. Loved the shrimp appetizer, only wish there were more than 4. Steak was to die for. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I will go back again!!!“
