“This is by far the BEST BBQ I've ever had in my life! The pulled pork was so flavorful and tender it melted in my mouth! The mac and cheese was just as good! I had so much food I had lots of leftovers and I'm not sad about that! The home made bbq sauce.... they give it to you warm in a bottle if you eat inside. It is perfect!!The food took a bit to come out but the wait was worth it!!! The people who work there are so nice and thankful! The owner came out and thanked us too. It was just the best experience and the best food. If I'm in the area I'm going back!“

“I love this spot! When I need something quick for dinner or just have a taste for their fish sandwiches. This place is always my go to Chelle is amazing! Customer service is always A1!! She’s gonna have the cocktail sauce for my husband, shrimp dinners, and my extra hot sauce for my fish sandwich. Lol With a smile! I’m sorry you don’t get that much on the west side!

“We had a birthday dinner with 17 people 3/15/25! The waiter was awesome and the food and atmosphere was fabulous! We ate breakfast the next day at Doc Crow’s 3/16/25 it was delicious!“

“The pulled pork sandwich on Texas Toast was phenomenal the Mac and cheese was ok my only complaint is that no one came to take my order when I sat at one of the tables so I ended up just ordering takeout which was surprisingly fast and the woman who took my order was kind
Parking: There’s lots of parking close to the entrance and two disabilities spot right up front
Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu and the bar is separate from the dining area they also have pin ball machines“
“This is my favorite meat market. The owner & his wife r the sweetest people & they help us wit any meats we need. Even if they don't have it in stock that day. They will order wat u need & slice it up 4 u at no extra cost. I've been a customer 4 about 3 yrs now & will continue 2 b. Thanks Galan's!!!!“

“The owner and his staff are very friendly. The restaurant is really clean on the inside. The first time I ordered, I got a rib tip dinner with greens and Mac and cheese. The second time, I only ordered rib tips and one of the staff asked me did I want sides. I told them no because I had sides at home. I let them know that the Mac and cheese was not so great and the owner came out and apologized for that and gave me a free slice of cake to make up. I thought that was really nice of him. He told me that he appreciated my feedback. I still visit every weekend and I get rib tips, greens and potato salad now and a slice of cake but I gotta get it early before it sells out.“

“Excellent quality on the entrees and salads. I'm not really a steak guy anymore. For health reasons. But this was a nice experience. The corn was very nice. . . Please try it when you go.i mistakenly got bacon on my mashed potatoes. But I was able to separate it from my dish. At the expense of losing some cheese.“

“Went tonight with my daughter. Our server was Gabby. I had went to the restroom & came back I’d say about 10 minutes. I sat down and we waited an hour before she came to take our order. She said “I was waiting for you to come out of the restroom”. She was sitting behind my daughter talking to an older gentleman for the hour we waited. She took our orders and after she brought us our food returned back to the booth behind my daughter. Idk if we was the only table she had today. We was seated around 3 something and our order was finally taken after 4:10pm. I’ve never had to wait that long. I could have understood if she was busy with other customers, but she sat down the whole time she wasn’t waiting on us to talk to the gentleman. It just baffled me cause we’ve never had that happen ever.“

“I went to the lunch buffet yesterday. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The food was excellent. A great variety and it was piping hot. Seasoned well no need to add salt or peppers. Going again soon.“

“This place just opened, and still decorating, it's going to be an awesome little local BBQ joint!
The pulled pork sandwich was extremely good. They only have one type of BBQ sauce, but it was unique and very good.
Id come back if I were to be in the area. Little down home bbq places like this one are always the best“
