I read all the Five Star reviews and thought to myself that this place can’t be as good as everyone is saying. Boy was I wrong!!
Started with extremely friendly staff that welcomed us and then walked us through the menu, since it was our first time here.
Forget Texas. I don’t need to go there for BBQ. I think this was beyond a doubt the absolute best brisket I have ever devoured.
The brisket price was very reasonable and the amount of food was overwhelming.
We can make another meal out of the leftovers.
If you have the opportunity, you must go.

My brisket sandwich and cornbread were SO GOOD. Had a great variety of sauces as well. Would love if they gave the option of garlic toast as the bun for a sandwhich and if the cheesy potatoes could be a side instead of just for large catering orders.

We ordered ribs pulled pork and sides. 3 ate, 3 sick. Called to speak with them about it. Was repeatedly told the owner wasn't in would be in tomorrow. After my 4th call the "owner" said she would have to check the tempature logs and would get back to me. That was over 2 weeks ago. Never again. Poor service, but free upset stomach and vomiting.

Fantastic food with great customer service! Every time we would visit in store the food has been delicious! You also get a great portion for the price!
We have tried multiple items to include chicken, ham, brisket, and the sausage. Additionally, the Brussels sprouts and macaroni and cheese are some of the best in Fort Wayne!
We ended up going with them to cater our small elopement (~20 people) and they were extremely professional with delivery and helping to set up!
We had many people comment on the food and even had a few guests who had to wait on their cake slice since they had entire plates of mac n cheese and needed time to digest.
10/10 would recommend for events or even just getting dinner there.

If you go the Ft Wayne area you MUST try this place!! Just a great experience all around. I always like to check out bbq spots when I travel out of town and Lucilles did not disappoint. I've hit bbq spots in multiple states and this one was hands down the best. Portions were generous especially for the price. The food was spectacular, especially the Mac bowl with burnt ends. The house made sauces were delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. An all out 10/10.

My family had an 80th Birthday party for our dad and we decided to meet in Fort Wayne since it was halfway between our homes. We choose Lucille's because of it being locally owned and tons of wonderful reviews. It did not disappoint! From my first phone call, it was a fantastic experience. The staff was so friendly and the food...out of this world! Thank you so much for your hospitality!
I retired 7 years ago and haven't been there in 7 years! They have perfected their craft and it is better!! I had black tips. Wow they were fantastic. They give you a serving that would feed 2! The son took care of us and he loves what he is doing and it shows! BTW 7 years ago they had no fountain drinks and they do now. A great experience!
