Wonderful waiter we had. The food was tasty and plentiful—the cost was justified. They also had a great selection of BBQ. I only wish they had potato wedges as a side option, but the macaroni I got was great. They gave me a lot of it, so I had leftovers of the side dish.

I have enjoyed BBQ in many different places, both around the country and at various places in Fort Wayne. Each place has something different to offer, and I enjoy discovering new locations and what they bring to the experience. My daughter came with me and loved her food (and said that the portions were more than enough for her appetite). She also appreciated the overall vibe. I had brisket, which had really well rendered fat. The bark was a little lighter than what I would expect in Texas, but it had a good flavor. The lean pieces were a little dry, but we were also there for dinner at a restaurant that serves all day. I had the mac and cheese as one side and the white cheddar corn as the other. They were both decent but clearly not the stars of the show. My daughter and I were both too full to try any desserts, but they looked good. They have a wide variety of sauces, and I sampled a couple of them. Lucille's might have the best BBQ sauce of any brick and mortar restaurant in Fort Wayne. The house sauce and raspberry chipotle were both excellent. All in all, we had a great experience, and I would love to come back again sometime to sample some of their other offerings!

We have purchased food here before and liked it, however today 10/17/25 was the absolute worse food we have ever gotten! So bad that it will be the last time ever we go there again! Everything, the chicken, bbq beans and coleslaw was terrible! It was what I would call “slop” food. We always get more sauce in the small containers to dip it in, as we did time also without knowing it already was swimming in it!!! The chicken had so much bbq sauce you couldn’t find the chicken! The coleslaw was swimming in a mess of sauce as was the bbq beans! I don’t know what has happened to this business but it is by far absolutely terrible! We could not eat it, it was too late to return it and it went into the garbage! Not what you want to see in this economy…money in the trash can! I can’t even think about it without wanting to throw up!!!

ABOVE AND BEYOND
This evening the incredible two women staff performed beyond expectations. While my son inlaw was eating inside Lucille's his motorcycle was slammed by a hit and run driver in the parkinglot. He spent the next five hours on the phone with the insurance company. As he did the two women on duty made sure he had soda refills, and were very kind to keep checking on him to mage sure things were going well.

Run…don’t walk! This place is a hidden gem. As a self proclaimed foodie I’m super picky. This place is awesome. The service was great, charming atmosphere. The ribs were so delicious! The baked beans, corn bread and Mac and cheese also delicious. Looking forward to going back.

Food is amazing! They have the best sides! Customer service is excellent! Edit- I always get the brisket, since they were out I ordered burnt ends. When I asked if they were supposed to be THAT burnt after ordering them Adrian offered me something else. He suggested the rib tips. GREAT suggestion! I hate to complain and honestly expected nothing except a lesson learned. He was so kind and understanding, he really went out of his way when he didn't have to! I'll definitely continue coming in on the regular- just wont be ordering the burnt ends.
