“I DO NOT RECOMMEND: We didn't get to enjoy anything at this establishment as we ended up leaving. The owner was so rude and blatantly disrespectful. He was more concerned with his Revenue as he put it. We were waiting on other persons to arrive for the surprise birthday dinner for my daughter. He wanted to remove one of the tables that we had reserved. We informed him that we were still waiting on people and asked if he would wait to make sure we had enough room for our party. He proceeds to tell us that he was losing Revenue and what did we presume he do about that. He continued to be rude and make comments so I asked if he would like to lose more Revenue by us leaving. His attitude and demeanor is definitely unbecoming. I have never been treated like that by an owner. We left once the birthday girl arrived. I refused to be treated rudely in an establishment that I am spending my hard earned money in. He missed out on hundreds of dollars tonight. This saddens me because I heard good things about this place but my FIRST and ONLY experience was awful. He wouldn't even apologize to those of us that he offended. I am good. “My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about our dinner at Paula's On Main. The atmosphere was charmingly rustic. The fish was very fresh and cooked to perfection, plated well. The service was outstanding and intimate. Abby was engaging and truly enjoyed serving us. Even the wait staff was delightful -- thanks Carol! When we return to Ft. Wayne will will definitely return to POM!“

“Alexis waitress is the bestest. They had signs posted to be patient with their need for additional staff. It was a Wednesday night 11/5/25 and they were busy and I took my wife and my mom in for dinner. Our hostess was very pleasant and our server Alexis was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive and just downright very skilled at her job. The beer selection was nice as usual and the food was outstanding. Mom had a burger and loved it. My wife had fish and chips and loved it (and the amount of food included w/ fish and chips was impressive). I had the Moose and it was very tasty. The Annie’s salad is terrific (red beans and rice on salad doesn’t seem like it should go together, but you have to try it). The side dishes are terrific including Moose snacks, red beans and rice and OH the warm German potato salad. Great dining experience overall as usual AND Alexis made it a top notch evening. “It isn't as good as the places we went to in New Orleans, but I didn't expect it to be. It is not a knock on Stormin. This was good especially for being up north in the winter. The food was good, the portion in the #1 combo was just right for the two of us. The price was reasonable and less per person than we would spend at a lot of other restaurants. I am not big on spicy food. We tried the Cajun, medium seasoning and I would try the next step up next time. This was a good solid experience and we would return.“

“Our favorite restaurant around! For birthdays and special occasions, we make the one hour drive to Cork N Cleaver. Salad bar is amazing, the lobster bisque is perfect, and I'm pretty sure I've never ordered off the menu, because the chef's specials always sound too good. Staff is friendly and super professional, yet also personable. Can't say I've ever had less than a 5 star experience.“

“We started with the crab cakes for appetizers and ordered the 14-oz ribeye, 6-oz filet mignon, and lobster tails for our main entrées. Our sides included broccoli, mashed potatoes, lobster bisque soup, and chili. Overall, the food was very good — the lobster bisque was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The pretzel bread with the cinnamon-flavored butter was superb, and both steaks and the lobster were cooked to perfection.

The mashed potatoes were the only real disappointment — they were lumpy and cold. Another issue was with my date’s cocktail. I ordered a sangria, which was amazing. However, his Long Island Iced Tea tasted more like a cola (Coke or Pepsi) and had no noticeable alcohol flavor. Our waitress, Ashley, was super nice and attentive, but when we mentioned the drink issue, she became somewhat defensive and explained it had three ounces of liquor. The manager never came to our table to address the concern, which was disappointing.

Despite that, the restaurant had an amazing ambiance and overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent aside from the few issues mentioned. That’s why I’m giving four stars instead of five. I would still highly recommend Backstreet Steakhouse — just maybe skip the Long Island Iced Tea and ask for your mashed potatoes hot!“

“Last night the service was very slow. Waiter wasn't on his game. Didn't listen to our order very well. Food was OK. We were looking for another place other than Paula's but didn't find it here. My wife talked with the manager on the way out but got no response. People came in after we were seated and received their meals promptly. We did not.“

“We have eaten at Trolley Bar many many times and it has been amazing! We decided to take a chance and get carry out steaks (we were a little skeptical of getting our food to go, especially when you’re spending over $100 in steak and sides). Once we got home, our food was just as good as if we were sitting in the restaurant eating! Trolley Bar did not disappoint and everyone did a great job from start to finish. Thank you!“
