“Rudy and I celebrated our 40th anniversary there on 7/27. This was our first visit at the new location. Mickey was our Server and she is EXCELLENT at taking care of customers. We had a full menu with some leftovers for later. I splurged on a Blackberry Smash Mocktail. Interestingly different... We shared the Calamari appetizer. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and Rudy had Filet medallions! So much flavor!!! Portions for us gave leftovers. We didn't want to be miserable and wanted to save room for dessert - Creme Brulee (me) and Carrot Cake (Rudy). We even took some dessert home! It was a wonderful evening at a Hideout 125! For us, Hideout 125 is one of our special places for special events!“

We stumbled into Lucky Turtle and Lucky Moose on a whim last fall—and now we’re regulars. Whether we’re stopping in for a casual night out or bringing friends and family along, it’s always a great experience. The menu is huge, and we’ve tried something new almost every time—every dish has been a hit! We especially love sitting at the rail and chatting with the friendly, welcoming bartenders. “Stopped by at the beginning of the lunch hour and there were no other customers around. As I approached the building, I was quickly able to decide that I wanted a #4 thanks to the common meals advertised in the windows. It was wings and a catfish fillet. I was surprised that it came with 5 whole wings.

Nonetheless, went in, placed the order and watched to fod being freshly prepared through the clear glass. I waited outside for about 15 minutes and the food was hot and tasted fresh. I had to take off a star because the lobby area could use a little TLC. Thanks for the experience!“

“It's a great place, but the service is slower. They don't use real butter. It's clean, but the writing all over walls, it's been done makes it look dirty. The food is good, not crazy good, and out the door at $90 for 2 people, it isn't in my heavy rotation.“

“This place rarely fails. The service was spectacular. The salad bar is famous itself, but the steaks did not disappoint. I ordered the coffee crusted Ribeye, and my wife ordered the filet. Both were full of flavor and very tender. My only critique was dessert. They brought out the creme brulee, and the top was perfect, but the bottom was warm and very runny. So runny that the area you just took a spoonful from filled back in. Great flavor but disappointing texture. We mentioned this to our waitres, and she apologized, but nothing else was done about it. My wife ordered a martini and loved it. I tried the ultimate margarita with Don Julio, but it was not good at all as even though i stirred it, it was all tequila and nothing else. Overall, it was still a good experience.“

My wife talked with the manager on the way out but got no response. People came in after we were seated and received their meals promptly. We did not.“

“We were given attention the moment we walked in the door. We were made to feel special, but also appreciated that we chose Baker Street for our anniversary celebration. Our server, Bradon, was very attentive, with lots of descriptions, details, and answers to all of our questions. He was so easy to talk to and very personable. “The atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. It was a bit dark for lunch, just my opinion. The men's room was orderly and operational. The meal I had was ok. It was not exactly what I had ordered. The waitstaff was informed of the discrepancy, but at the end of the day, there was no discount from the bill or offer to remake the meal.
REVIEW UPDATE- The owner of the restaurant called me personally, and we had a fantastic conversation . Rob is truly passionate about his restaurant, and he took my feedback as an opportunity to reach out to a customer and truly make it right. My wife and I will definitely be going back, and I let the three stars stand for my calzone. However, SIX STARS FOR ROB.
UPDATE TWO - Rob sent us a gift certificate and told us to let his staff know when we came in to eat again, and he would stop by and chat with us. He stopped by and talked with us for about ten minutes just like he said he would. The moral of the story is he does what he says he will do, and he really cares about the people he serves. His sincerity is genuine, and it really shows through when you talk with him. We would all be even fatter and happier if there were more restaurant owners like him.“
