“Delightful casual restaurant with incredible food. The dining room is unassuming and rustic but chic with dim lighting. The entree portions are plentiful but doable, even for Joy's small frame. The meatballs are good, but they are pretty big. The staff are very friendly; our server, Jeanne, was very knowledgeable about the menu. The restroom is a clean one-seater.“
“I have family in the area that love Bonsai, so I finally checked it out! I'm glad that I did. For a small town restaurant they offer a great menu. Their boba tea was great, the chicken and fried rice dishes were filling and their sushi was good too. The server was friendly and helpful to our table. When we arrived (right at opening) it was empty but several to-go orders were picked up. People trickled in as we were eating. Seems like a well- loved place on the community. And it's in the cute downtown strip of Fortville.“
“The lady working Friday night, I'm sorry I didn't get her name, was very helpful in offering suggestions and opinions on different things she just tried at a tasting. Very friendly service, small but plentiful liquor store. Quick stop after a long trip for me!“
“The food was absolutely amazing, the crab stuffed mushrooms, halibut, scallops, and lobster oscar; it was all cooked to perfection and very fresh. The restaurant is beautiful inside, makes you feel like you are sitting by the water without actually seeing the water. Joey was honest, helpful and attentive!“
“We stopped in on Sunday for brunch and had simply the best time. The food was amazing, we sampled several different things from their various menus. The drinks were strong and delicious. Wine selection is out of this world, and the employees have an intimate knowledge of the wine they sell. They were able to offer suggestions on new wines to try. Overall it was a great experience and I’m overjoyed to see this place on the up and up. Can’t wait to come back!!“
