“After spending seven hours in the recording studio we were tired and starving. We were greeted with wonderful staff and homemade warm chips and some of the best salsa ever. “I've been a regular customer here since the week it opened. Lauren learned well from her father, Gallo. My favorites are the sea scallops, sometimes with Portobello mushrooms and Gallo's Chopped salad, and my wife loves their meatballs, but we order a wide variety. I have never had a bad meal here. Service is usually equal to the best worldwide, and the flavors are very real Italian. If I could afford it more often, I'd eat here more often, it's that good.”

“I’ve been to Rosco’s a few times, and their coffee is consistently excellent. The first time, I tried out their honey-lavender iced latte, which although very floral and sweet, still had a wonderfully clean espresso flavor that balanced out the flavor. I also got an açaí bowl which was fairly standard as far as açaí bowls go, and a little on the pricey side. The second time, I tried out some more of their food, getting a grilled cheese sandwich and an Iron Man Smoothie, which was presumably a strawberry banana smoothie with maybe a touch of tropical fruit in it, but I’m not sure. The grilled cheese wasn’t anything special, but the smoothie was very light and refreshing. The most recent time, I went here with my best friend, where we got their Oreo frappe which admittedly blew us away. The cookies and cream combined with the aforementioned clean and rich tasting espresso they have was a perfect treat. It didn’t take long for either of us to feel a serious caffeine buzz. I would highly recommend it. Also, their interior design is both modern and retro at the same time, and is a perfect hang-out spot with plenty of comfortable seating. The only thing is it takes a second to figure out where the entrance to the parking lot is. It’s not the easiest to spot from the main road.”

“Hostess refused to seat us because she was told they had to "leave a table open incase people are on a wait". However, no one was on a wait... just us, waiting for a table. and another table was leaving, and she refused to sit us there too because we were a party of 2. told we would have to wait 20-25 minutes, just incase that table needs to be given to someone else. Make it make sense. We won't be back.”

“My family was looking for a place to eat on the way home from Cincinnati and stopped at Carlo’s Cuisine Family Restaurant. The restaurant was clean, the hostess was lovely and the food had large portions and was delicious! This may be our new favorite mid trip stop! Thank you for a wonderful meal!”

“My daughter picked up an order for us the other night. They forgot her gluten free sandwich. Which I understand because it was late and normally they are ON IT. But I did call to let them know, and since we don’t live close enough to go back, they took my info and the manager called me. She was so nice and are sending a coupon to replace it. “Nice little homemade ice cream shop off adorable cobblestone streets. Sampled three Wonderful flavors including a shockingly delicious vegan lemon sorbet, but the bourbon praline was the winner. I got a package to go order since my kitten was waiting for me in the car, and I was able to add to get toppings to go, as many as I chose for only a $1.50, which I thought was a great service for a traveling vacationer. Really nice counter help, very clean bathroom. This homemade ice cream is worth the price!”

“Stopped in for a chocolate cake and bread. The cake flavor was good, but the crumb was on the dry side and needed warming to really shine. The ganache was enjoyable. The sourdough bread was fresh.

Service was friendly, though there seemed to be some hesitation when I selected the cake, which made sense in hindsight. I’d still come back and try other items.”

“I loved La Mex my entire time living in Richmond. Their authenticity and comfortable low-key dining atmosphere (not during covid) makes them a wonderful lunch/dinner stop. Their burritos are incredibly - big fan of breakfast burrito with green sauce!! Also they have a nice selection of grocery products!”
