“Came here on 7-29-25 for lunch. Craving a good dog. And this by far is on top of my list. Got a Indian dog and cheese frys. And a root beer. The dog and frys were awesome. Didn't really care for the rootbeer. Overall 4 outta 5 stars for me. Will be back!“

Jackie’s Family Restaurant in Gas City is truly a hidden gem! This has been our go-to spot for as long as I can remember, and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is welcoming for families of all ages. Jackie herself is a wonderful person—kind, friendly, and always makes you feel at home. We've never had a single complaint in all the years we've been eating here. If you're looking for great food, great prices, and a place that feels like home, Jackie’s is the place to go!“

“However, after going to over 79 Mexican restaurants. This one was a breathe of fresh air. Although the food was straight typical of any Mexican restaurant that uses a blender at mach speed to make their salsa. It did happen to do something 1out of 30 actually do. They actually remade my fajita to go and remadeitt twice to meet my medium rare fajita request. Very surprised. My server while I satcat the bar did wonderful. Its busy as heck so I'm shocked. Top 3% of all Mexican restaurants I have been to and I have been to at least one in every state. Gas city is doing great in my book“

“The owner and his wife put this place together to offer something different in this neck of the woods and you typically will find out here. You will appreciate this if you are from the West Coast or Southwest. His wife is from Sinaloa and they make delicious southwest style Mexican food that is very hard to find in Indiana, Northern Indiana area. I offered a picture of a Carne Asada burrito from the southwest and he recreated it for me perfectly. The food here is top-notch and you definitely have to come by and check this place out!“

“I love this place. I’ve never eaten in. I always place to go orders, but if you get car-side service you def need to check your order before you leave. I paid for onion rings and ended up with tater tots, even still, no complaints. Whenever I come to Marion, I stop here for a tenderloin. The wait can be long but it’s worth it, because the food comes out hot. Even if you’re getting your food to go, make sure to tip these folks working car-side, yall!!“

I only rated the food less because they were out of Philly steak, no pickle with the burger, and my crepes didn't come with cheesecake mousse filling. Servers weren't sure who's table it was. Very clean.“

“The food is good. I like that they switched back to beef tallow. I would not call it fast food. They do not start your food until it is ordered. It is disappointing that they cut back on the service, but most places don't know what good service is anyway.
I have not had any issues at this location and have been through here often lately. I typically do not like drive-through service, but it has been solid here.“
