“UPDATED REVIEW:
( Original Rating 2)
Normally have good luck with ordering ahead on the app at this location, so I didn’t think to pull out all of the burgers to check this time. I noticed our sides were correct, and even had the sauces I requested… so I thought it would all be correct. Sadly, it was not, and I drove off. I didn’t realize that over half of the burgers didn’t have the correct cheese/ toppings once I got home. I received mostly garlic cheese burgers, and a couple jalapeño cheese (not ordered). I ordered 5 smoked cheddar/ 5 garlic cheese. I’m upset because, we live around 20 minutes away- it isn’t convenient for me to drive back for a correction. :(

Update: Truly some of the best customer service in regards to making up for my last experience/ review. I really appreciated that, and due to normally having great experiences with this location- I’ve changed my review back to 5 stars.“

“I've been through the drive thru at this location a few times recently. It's right off of US 50 about a half a mile from Hollywood Casino. I've long been a fan of the BK Croissant Sandwiches for breakfast particularly the Sausage And Cheese one. However what I'm really excited to talk about is their Spicy Chicken Sandwich. In the past I've had it and it was on the okayish side but nothing really memorable. However at some point over the last while they've really upped their game and are really bringing something special to the table with their Spicy Chicken. It comes with a pretty good spicy chicken patty that had decent enough flavour but what separated this sandwich from the others was the sauce that they put on it. It was a sort of savory sauce with a little bite to it and let me tell you what it was spectacular. It is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already. Their Flame Broiled Burgers are always kind of a divisive thing. People tend to either love them or hate them. For me I like it well enough. I just got a couple of small cheeseburgers plain with mustard for the sole purpose of letting the meat flavour stand out. Most people like the Whopper and all of it's toppings and I get that but for me I prefer it very basic so I can enjoy what they've done with the burger. Whenever I'm here for lunch I've always gotta get some onion rings to go with whatever sandwich I've chosen on the given day. They are probably the best of the fast food restaurant onion rings as far as flavour and consistency that I've come across. You gotta get that Zesty Dipping sauce to really get that awesome onion ring flavour. Burger King has really picked up their game recently and went from kind of an also ran fast food chain with mediocre food to bringing some great stuff to the table. All hail the King for those improvements.“

“It's not too often that I throw down a 5 star review for a restaurant, let alone a Mickey D's but I stopped there today and was floored by how perfect my meal was. Order was placed ahead of time using the app. I pulled up, gave them my code, pulled around to side, was promptly greeted, had my order confirmed then pulled up to next window where I was again greeted, to my surprise, by a sweet lady that looked she was someone's grandmother. Go granny! Show those young pups how to do it. My order was handed over promptly and everything was as good, if not better, than in all the hundreds (sigh, thousands) of times over the decades I have eaten McDonald's before. The Coke, which usually is always pretty good at any McD's was perfectly filled to the top and tasted fresh and cold. The fries had just the right amount of salt that made me want to lick my fingers and they had just the right amount of golden brown crisp to them. All too often of late I've had fries that seemed as if they got pulled from the deep fryer about a minute too soon. Not these, perfection. The McNuggets were likewise still warm and crispy, not like the cold lumps of chewy mess I have encountered before. But the best part was the double cheeseburger. The cheese was literally coming out from the sides because the patties were so hot. The cheese was gooey and the entire patty surface was covered. I savored every bite - astonished that the mouthful of yumminess came from a McD's drive thru burger. Everything at this location was on point. The service, the amount of time I had to wait and the food. All was, honestly, the best I've ever had at a McDonald's. I don't know if this was some once in a lifetime miracle or what was going on in the kitchen, but they were seriously knocking this out of the ballpark in stellar fashion today around 11:30am. It was so good that I'm almost worried that if I go back the food won't be quite as good! I was wondering if maybe the folks in kitchen might also have been a bit older like the nice lady at the window and just took that much more pride in their job. I don't know what it was but I HOPE it continues! Kudos McDonald's! You guys blew me away today during what I thought was just going to be a routine quick stop to grab a bite while running errands. Oh, and the free French fries by using the App was a nice bonus too! 5 stars all around!“

“It's okay. This particular McDonald's is out of things often. That's probably a good sign though. Never had any major issues with the order and all staff are friendly. My biggest issue is they don't have promotional things because they are already out or they have no idea what promotion they have. I asked for the cup sleeve weekly and nobody knew what I was talking about until they were sold out. Not sure how that even happens.“

“This was my 2nd visit here and my first in a really long time. The restaurant itself had a really old school but still nice look to it. It really fit the ascetic of the type of restaurant they were trying to be. Their menu was on the small side which tells me they focus on the things they do well which I appreciate. Most of their menu was variations of burgers such as the Sloppy Joe and the Portobello. However the most common thing is to get your burger whether it's a standard single, jr, or double (there's probably bigger bit that's what I saw. Then there's a list of toppings some of which are "premium" toppings that cost extra and some are not. I got a build your own single with bacon, swiss, and bleu cheese on it. The burger patty was cooked perfectly and made a great base for my toppings. Swiss and bleu cheese are 2 really sharp cheeses so the burger had plenty of flavour and I rather enjoyed it. The Lays chips as a side was a bit lazy I think as a standard side though (I should've probably asked for fries but I think that should be the default side for a burger in my opinion anyway.) There's a few different appetizers you can get here and we settled on cheese curds which I would rate as slightly above average. The curds were good but their marinara dipping sauce was disappointing. For dessert we both got shakes me a chocolate one and my wife a strawberry one. Both were quite good and were a satisfying conclusion to our meal. The service was excellent and I have nothing but love for Lawrenceburger. Thumbs up.“
