The Perfect Scoop is a great new addition to Greentown, offering lots of options for everyone. The ice cream is delicious, with favorites like the Mackinaw Fudge in a homemade waffle cone and mint hand-dipped ice cream. The food menu includes a smash burger described as one of the best, along with Hot Dogs, BellyBusterTenderloins, Cheeseburgers, and awesome French Fries. They also have the best fountain drink anywhere.
Service is very friendly and accommodating, with staff cheerfully complying with special requests. However, service can be extremely slow, with simple orders sometimes taking 15 minutes even when not busy. On occasion, the register person did not know specific flavors and some were out of stock. While the ice cream tastes fine, some feel the portion for one scoop in a waffle cone is not enough to fill it and question if it is worth the price. Despite this, many find it a delicious and convenient place, blessed to have in their city, and plan to come back many times.
