“We are not from the area but camp seasonally about 20 minutes away. We saw a few bad reviews but decided to try last year. We have NEVER had a bad experience, the food and service couldn't be better. I don't know who was working Friday evening (May 8th) but she was awesome! We have an autistic adult son that does not typically interact with most. She was so friendly and kind to him, he interacted with her and she even made him smile! Because of his autism he simply refuses to eat at many restaurants, we don't know why. This place is probably his favorite, every Friday he starts the repeated requests to go to Roger's during the weekend. The salads are BOMB, I usually buy some to take home. for the week. Thank you to your wonderful server for being kind to our son and making him feel like a person! We look forward to coming here on the weekends during the camping season!“

“I cannot say enough positive things about our Culver’s in Angola Indiana! We absolutely love this place! With growing up having a Dad in the “fast food” industry, I think it’s important to let others know when places are doing it right … and this place is doing it right!! We have always been acknowledged the minute we walk in the door with smiling faces! The food is delicious and most importantly warm!! The custard, well let’s just say it is absolutely the best!! The restaurant is always clean, including the restrooms!! We have our very, very favorites (love you AJ and Dani) keep doing what you are doing!! Lily, Levi … so many others! You make our day!! If you are the owner of this restaurant, kudos to you on your choice of hires!! They are doing an amazing job, and I really really wanted you to know! “Our work crew comes here for lunch when in town. Plenty of room. Never a long wait. Very affordable for folks that have to eat out daily. Portions are great. Great breakfast menu and a salad bar with soup that seems to be pretty fresh“

“My friend and I met there today. We enjoyed our food and had a great visit catching up. They were getting ready to close and graciously let us stay while they were cleaning. First time for both of us. Good home made American fried potatoes. Will go back again soon.“

“Happened to secure tickets on my last day in the area to the ice cream train out of angola. We loved it. A vintage nickel plate train, 1 hr ride, and a bowl of ice cream as you ride the countryside. Would recommend to anyone as they offer wine rides, dinner rides, offer private parties, etc. The host made special mention of valentine's day and Christmas as themed rides.“

“Met my parents there for lunch, very relaxed, positive vibe. Was seated immediately, ordered right away and the food came quick, hot, and correct. They have an amazing place, I recommend this to all passing through Angola. Great place to meet friends and enjoy yourselves.

Came back some months later
The place has declined, it's visually dirty, and the food made me wonder if I'd be regretting what I just ate later.

“5 stars honestly doesn’t feel high enough for the service tonight. The food was excellent across the board, but what really stood out was the bartender Shaelin handling an incredibly rude customer with way more professionalism and composure than most people could. She was putting real effort into making drinks and taking care of everyone at the bar, and instead of appreciation she got unfairly berated by a customer over something minor.

The staff still stayed kind, professional, and attentive the entire time, and the service never slipped for the rest of us. I made sure to tell her she was doing a great job because she absolutely was. Places with employees that care that much deserve recognition. I’ll definitely be back.“
