“The food was not only ready quickly, but was fantastic! my wife had the perch dinner. The perch was full of flavor with the right amount of breading. I had a specialty- twice smoked burnt ends over creamy gouda Mac and cheese. My plate looked like it came from a 5 star fancy restaurant! The pork was delicious, soft and great smoked flavor. The Mac & cheese was very creamy and complimented the pork perfectly.“

“I cannot say enough positive things about our Culver’s in Angola Indiana! We absolutely love this place! With growing up having a Dad in the “fast food” industry, I think it’s important to let others know when places are doing it right … and this place is doing it right!! We have always been acknowledged the minute we walk in the door with smiling faces! The food is delicious and most importantly warm!! The custard, well let’s just say it is absolutely the best!! The restaurant is always clean, including the restrooms!! We have our very, very favorites (love you AJ and Dani) keep doing what you are doing!! Lily, Levi … so many others! You make our day!! If you are the owner of this restaurant, kudos to you on your choice of hires!! They are doing an amazing job, and I really really wanted you to know! My Dad was in management for a baking company that serviced many restaurants many, many years ago. I am convinced that he would have wanted this owner to know he has a winning team!! “My friend and I met there today. We enjoyed our food and had a great visit catching up. They were getting ready to close and graciously let us stay while they were cleaning. First time for both of us. Good home made American fried potatoes. Will go back again soon.“

“My friend and I came in on a Saturday evening for dinner. We got seated right away. I got the fish dinner. The fish was good, but could’ve been cooked longer. The cole slaw, hush puppies and fries were average. My friend’s dinner, the coconut shrimp with sweet potato fries, was really good though. The atmosphere is pretty cool.“

“Happened to secure tickets on my last day in the area to the ice cream train out of angola. We loved it. A vintage nickel plate train, 1 hr ride, and a bowl of ice cream as you ride the countryside. Would recommend to anyone as they offer wine rides, dinner rides, offer private parties, etc. The host made special mention of valentine's day and Christmas as themed rides.“

The place has declined, it's visually dirty, and the food made me wonder if I'd be regretting what I just ate later.

“5 stars honestly doesn’t feel high enough for the service tonight. The food was excellent across the board, but what really stood out was the bartender Shaelin handling an incredibly rude customer with way more professionalism and composure than most people could. She was putting real effort into making drinks and taking care of everyone at the bar, and instead of appreciation she got unfairly berated by a customer over something minor.

The staff still stayed kind, professional, and attentive the entire time, and the service never slipped for the rest of us. I made sure to tell her she was doing a great job because she absolutely was. Places with employees that care that much deserve recognition. I’ll definitely be back.“
