I started with the crab cakes appetizer, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. For my main course, I had the steak frites, and the steak was cooked to my exact liking. The fries were also crispy and delicious.In addition to the great food, Rumors also has a friendly and attentive staff. The service was excellent, and my server was always happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Rumors. “Audra is amazing. I had a bad experience a couple of weeks ago. She made it right and then some! The cod was fantastic, and the personal touch when she said to my son that the homemade macaroni and cheese with bacon was going to be his favorite... It was! I always loved this restaurant, but now I can say that it's worth the drive because she's invested in the satisfaction of her customers. We may not get up here very often, but it's the ONLY place in Hudson for us. Excellent food, and customer satisfaction. Bravo!“

“Fell in love with this place on my first visit. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the food absolutely delicious. The waitress was very kind and friendly as it was my first time in town. I didn't realize they were closing about the time I showed up. But they served me anyway. You must try their patty melt! Beyond delicious!“

“Very few people in for a Friday night on a holiday weekend, but service was friendly, fast, and food was great. Half burrito was just the right size. Quesadilla was big enough that we took half home. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Very casual. Nice menu/selection from sandwiches and apps to fish fry, full dinners, and Taco Tuesday!

“This place was sold about a year ago and the buyer ran it very poorly. Anyone that had a bad experience in the last year should give it another shot. The old owner has the place back and the food is like it used to be. Very glad this place is back.“
