“Great Polish food and great service“

“I came here after being told by a coworker about this place they wanted to try. I've heard of Dan's Pierogis somewhere in the region but this was my first time trying it. I walked in I ordered the Smokey Toasted Pierogis it comes individually and I ordered a side of fries. They do take cash or card, but if you pay with cash there is a slight discount which helps local businesses avoid CC processing fees. There is a dining room connected behind a separating wall, there was napkins, silverware, salt & pepper available and a bin for used trays in the small room. The lady or owner brought the food to my table and I was excited to try the famous Pierogis, It was fresh, hot and LOADED with breadcrumbs, cheese, pork and all of the above and it was AMAZING. I sat alone in the dining room with the southern autumn sun shining through the historic windows on my food. Also there is a mura painted on the walll. They do have a very clean bathroom if your a customer of course. After I fished I talked the the lady if i recall correctly her name was Lisa. I was asking here about the business and how they all started, they started with 2 food trucks and now they are in beautiful downtown Highland with the food truck used for events or catering i believe. They also have a fridge with Pierogis and other deli like items to take home in a cold cooler case. There is parking but its on the street I believe the lot outside was part of another business. Please do support this business and make sure to say hi to the owners. I love this and I will be back to try other items. They do have a to-go menu and a online menu on there website. They also do catering!
