“The Brass Ring is a very good place to order a great pizza and have a beer or a mixed drink. The atmosphere seems to me pretty friendly. They also have a couple of pool tables which in my opinion are fair but by no means the best out there. They have a shuffle board table that I played on in the 1980's and is still in pretty good shape. The owner Rick is friendly person and the bar tenders seems friendly. I like going just to kill a couple of hours. Great place to kick back and have a drink. I highly recommend the Brass Ring. I am a newbie again like I said I went in there back in the 1980's and been going in for just a month or so. Go enjoy yourself. Rick has a dog or it maybe someone else that's very friendly so expect to play ball with him. You gotta love that, but by no means will he bother you if you are not a dog liver. I am personally!“
“Nice unassuming restaurant in a small town. It's your standard American fare, but done pretty well. My fish sandwich was HUGE, though the taste was only good (not great). I think the rest of my family liked their food more. Prices are reasonable, as well.“
“I’ve lived in southern Indiana and never stopped here. Live 30 minutes away, been by, but never stopped. I popped in here on a Tuesday for lunch. To my pleasure, fried chicken was the special! “I LOVED this place!! I loved the atmosphere. Our bartender was so amazing. The food was excellent. This is the perfect “dive” bar. I’d love to come back to experience the night life. I’ve never had such a good burger. It was the best burger I’ve had in a really long time. Fried mushrooms were so good too. I come to Indiana once or twice a year to visit my aunt and uncle. I’ll be coming back for burgers every visit back. This place is literally a gem to find. So happy we stumbled across this bar. I’ll take this place over a fine dining restaurant any time. It felt like home.“
“The frontier bar and restaurant catered the alcohol for our wedding. They were AMAZING! So so so easy to work with and willing to find the specific wine I requested. “We came on a Friday evening at like 7 and we got seated right away. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was FANTASIC!! We got the BBQ pulled pork platter w creamy slaw and fried apples and the smoked ham platter w baked beans and fries. We also got the drunken potato spikes as an appetizer and they were SO good. This was also one of the cheapest date nights my bf and I have done in a long time. Highly recommend!!Parking: Parking super close to restaurant.“
