“We were a group of 9; 6 adults & 3 children looking for a more sit-down place to eat when the owner talked us into staying telling us we would not be disappointed, and we were not. Their menu had a huge variety of food to choose from, and all of us thought the food was great! I had French toast, hash browns & sausage. My husband had an awesome shrimp omlette that had more shrimp on it than anywhere else we have ever eaten that put shrimp in its breakfast. And even thought it was all packagesd as take out, there were three tables available to sit and eat. It worked for us! Great job S&G! It's a well-earned 5 star review!“

“Delicious drinks, I had a double expresso caramel iced coffee. Im not too fancy but there were lots of options! We also played with the cats. They were so cute, playful and sweet. The little gift shop was adorable too. The workers were so knowledgeable and friendly. The partnership happening to make this a great experience is amazing, for us and the cats. Definitely worth the trip! If I lived close, I would be there every week. 🐱 ❤️“

“The staff is nice and friendly. The food is VERY good!!! I was a student at IUN many years ago and the food in the cafe did not taste as good as it does now. Maybe they have a different management/owner. It is pricey but food costs have gone up and they are paying to rent the facility and pay their employees so it is to be expected. It is a very convenient asset on the campus. I will definitely frequent this establishment.

Love the Poke-Personality of this Nutrition Shop. He makes my day better just by being in the shop when I go in. He does small events with the community! Overall good guy and place to sit and chat. “An intimate setting for size. I will say their menu is extensive. You could bring a diverse group here and most would find something they wanted to eat. The pizza I had was ok, I have a feeling it would have been better on a larger sized crust. The fettuccine was good enough I suppose but the Alfredo sauce was sweet which wasn't quite my thing. If I could have done it over again I would have ordered something different. The staff was wonderful which I feel like was really the best part of the experience. If you are looking for a location to eat and don't want to get tied into a set menu this place could help you out in a pinch.

“My wife and I had not been here in about a year. We would get AYCE lake perch, which they understandably don't offer anymore. However, the YELLOW Lake Perch dinner is absolutely the best in the area. The filets are perfectly breaded and pan fried. We also got a side of 2 walleye filets prepared the same way. Just as good with the distinctly walleye taste. We were both in the mood for coleslaw and fries. After we left, neither of us could figure out why it took so long to go back. We had a great, friendly server (Lindsey) who was new, but she was awesome. We also got to chat with Cindy (the owner) for a while. The place is not smokey at all and not very busy for a Friday night. My only complaint is their social media outreach. I like to look at menus before I visit a restaurant. But that's just me. We will be back to try other offerings, highly recommended.“
