“This is a little hometown bar. The pizza was a little pricey the one pictured was $27 but it definitely had a lot of ingredients and good flavor. The owner was very friendly and talkative. I got this to go and didn't have to wait very long for it to be made.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar so no children allowed.“

“We were there on a Saturday evening and the special was BBQ chicken. Was pretty good BBQ chicken for chicken fixed in an oven. It took way too long to get your meal, unless you were a regular. They got great service. We were from out of the area so we waited for about 40 minutes to get our food. While others around us got their food much quicker. As they seemed to be regulars.Saturday night special was way over priced 2 pieces of chicken and french fries was around $16.00.This is a small local bar and everyone was friendly, except for the bartender.“

My grandmother took me out for lunch and highly recommended that I try their "gator bites"... Not gonna lie, I was slightly apprehensive to confidently order alligator (for the first time, too) in Jasper, Indiana. But since she couldn't say enough positive things about them, I gave in and ordered them as my main dish... Long story short- OH MY LAWD WERE THEY AMAZING! Definitely did not disappoint. Overall, they did a great job leaving a positive first impression on me. Now it all makes sense why Snap's is considered one of Jasper's staple restaurants. “I've been coming here since before the newest owners. I have to say they have put a lightening bolt into this establishment, the food they offer is outstanding every time I go into this business. Greated very well, always friendly and that takes alot because alot of owners of small businesses get thrown alot of stresses and business decisions they don't agree with. This is not the place they have always been great people from the start. My last meal I had was the brisket tacos. Now if you know how much time goes into making brisket this was a treat. Hope you read this and will greet this place with your presence because it is very much worth it.“

“BarEven though the name is something of a tongue twister, Owsley's Lounge is a welcome addition to the Jasper scene. Sitting right next to the Fairfield Inn on the Patoka river, it is a welcome addition for us weary travelers who want to have a cocktail and chat after a day of meetings. The nights we were there were interesting: they were trying out some new bartenders and the first night the lady was very nice, but just terrible. Sean (the main bartender) swooped in and saved the day, and was just a hoot to chat with.Second night, much better trainee and Sean was still large and in charge- this place has some serious potential and there is a new and almost open rooftop bar - imagine that for Jasper!Drinks were well made and there is food available - nothing to blow your mind, pretty much just bar food: pretzels, wings, nachos and some pulled pork. Looking forward to hitting it next time I am in that areaParking is somewhat limited with the hotel sharing the lot but definitely give it a shot if in the area“
