“I'm staying in the connected hotel for work (Quality Inn) so, obviously this is extremely convenient. The food was AWESOME. I got a Burrito Supreme - best $8 I've spent in a while.I ordered early (like 4:15-4:30) so they weren't busy at all. Carry out order took less than 5 minutes. I've spent more and waited longer for less food and lower quality (fast food) elsewhere.I'm definitely coming back at least once this week while I'm staying here. . maybe twice.“
“My wife and I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat while we were on our way to Evansville Indiana for a concert. Didn't have really good reviews on yelp so we were kind of skeptical but man we were wrong we got in there and I don't know what it was but our bills fantastic we had a great Mexican food good chips and salsa for tacos were fire waitress was really nice so we enjoyed ourselves I don't know what's going on with some of the reviews but we had a great time so definitely worth checking out“
“I understand why all of Jasper is talking about this place. With as many mexican restaurants in Jasper, IN I was truly not excited about another one. I was pleasently surprised. The food is good but I'm pretty sure it's the staff and the atmospher that actually make this place better than the rest. HINT: The Mahi Mahi Taco's will turn your hands BLUE :) lol“
“Chavas is the place to go when I am super hungry!” I love going to Chavas, it is like a qudoba or chipotle but waaaaay better. The parking here is spacious as is the seating. The building was clean and well taken care of. The food is very good. The burritos are MASSIVE and you can get anything on it you want. Chavas has that authentic Mexican food vibe that qudoba or chipotle can not compete with. I love their hot sauce selection.“
“Fridays of Delicious soup for 12$I happened to be in the right place at the right moment. Oh what a lucky day! Comes in generous size clay bowl paired with some tortillas, limes, cilantro and onions.I cannot describe how good it was but I can tell you that with the first full spoon it made me remember my grandmother's kitchen in my home country. ❤❤❤❤The homemade drinks comes in a generous size cup and they are delicious too.Very fast service!“
“I would have added a photo, but I ate my food fast.This place never disappoints! I love the chorizo pupusas, steak street tacos! Go ahead and get a margarita as well. The service is great, everyone friendly. You can’t get Miranda’s food anywhere else in Jasper. A plus, you can grocery shop for all your Spanish foods after you eat! Try it, you’ll like it!“
“This is THE Mexican restaurant to visit when near Jasper IN. There are many here in this area, but we love their service and their authentic food. Margaritas are delicious. Service is terrific as is staff's efficiency. Try the Famous al Pastor tacos. SO good. Oh and their chips and salsa is amazing. Chips are thin but not fragile, and the salsa is fresh tasting with just the right amount of textures. Delish.“
“The food was excellent. Service was outstandingly prompt and efficient. The atmosphere was crowded. The entrance was not large enough for the amount of traffic going through. Everyone was polite and made it work, tho. I think it was just the busy time of the day that caused a bottleneck. And then of course the bathroom was an issue, there was a line and it wasn't moving quickly. They had opened some others in the back, but I didn't hang around to find out. Our food was up before I could explore more.The food was delicious. Everything I could ask for and more.Thanks y'all. If I'm ever back in your area, I'm going back for more. Yummy“
“It was a late night “I’m hungry” option after having got back to the hotel from Holiday World. Food was fantastic as well as service. it was just a short drive from where we stayed which was Sure Stay by Best Western. Which I also recommend.“
“After looking for this place, I was hesitant about the place, it's older town with older buildings! Do not judge by the looks , it is a hidden gem. Very good service, very good food, and will be back! It's fresh, delicious food, at an affordable price ?Kid-friendliness: My girl loved this place! She said it's probably one of the best Mexican restaurants she's been too!“
“I have dined in El Maguey Grill many times along with several take out orders with no complaints except i would not recommend the baby back ribs, they didn't even come close as stated on menu, (cooked slowly and falling off the bone), mine were so tough and required a knife to remove from the bone, tasted like they were old and freezer burnt“
“We've been here a couple of times and we love it. It has a fun atmosphere, great food, amazing specials, and great service. We suggest coming for lunch, especially on Tuesdays when they have tacos for $1.50!!!The servers are very nice and friendly.
