“Moving here 17 years ago from San Francisco, finding aplace that has pupusas wa not easy! But in Washington, Indiana of all places. Small place, very, very nice staff. Pupusas were as good as any I've had anywhere. It was 92 degrees and the power went out on that side of town, but that just added to our adventure! Prices are RIDICULOUSLY LOW! 2 people, 8 pupusas, 2 drinks = $19! Definitely on our "places to go" lst!“
“Have known them for years, very well respected and have decent merchandise, very friendly staff, haven't used thier laundry mat, but have only heard good things, the restaurant is great genuine people food and service all around. Great asset to the community. 5 Stars. :)“
“In Washington, this is as close to real Mexican food as you're going to get. It's not your usual Americanized-Mexican restaurant; they serve traditional Mexican food. The tacos are actual tacos and they're awesome. The restaurant itself has been remodeled, as another reviewer indicated and it looks much more professional now. Everything I've tried there has been delicious! Speaking Spanish will definitely help with things, it's not a necessity. Everyone I've dealt with there has been super friendly. The Tortas are awesome... Give it a chance and I don't think you'll be disappointed!“
“Ate here after the 2024 Eclipse but before the evening rush. Nice, varied menu. Pleasant decor and seating. We were waited on quickly (maybe because it wasn't busy) and the food was served with one of the shortest waits we've experienced. Our server was very attentive. The entrees were ample and well prepared but we thought they seemed a bit bland as if they might be catering to Midwestern tastes.“
“I've heard others complain about the service here, but personally, I've never had an issue. The servers are normally quick and friendly. At times, there are language barriers, but it's a Mexican restaurant. The food is always good and the prices are fair. I come here at least once a month. The only category they could improve in greatly is the atmosphere. It's located in a very old strip mall (probably 70 years old). I don't think there's much they could do to improve, other than move.“
“Food was hot & fresh....employees weren't overly friendly but were polite.Parking: Nice lot, plenty of open spots, cleanDietary restrictions: There's something for everyone... if not it's made to order - so tell them what you'd like and they'll make it that way!“
“This place has fantastic food, no matter the order. I've been here many times and haven't found anything to complain about. Service is fantastic. There are free nachos and salsa with every order, the staff is very patient and helpful, and the atmosphere is perfect for most occasions. Wait times are on the shorter side and I've never gotten the wrong order. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant in the area. Favorite Mexican restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free and dairy free options.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two handicap parking spots directly in front of the doors“
“decided to eat here after not filling up at a wedding and let me tell you!!!! what a gem for us! as we ordered drinks they brought us the biggest cups of all time, i didn’t need a refill at all! when we ordered the guacamole we asked for it spicy and did they listen, it was made to perfection. when each of our meals came a silence took over the table as we were stuffing our faces. each dish was extremely reasonably priced, we ordered a chimichanga to go and it held up and reheated nicely. if i ever end up in Indiana again i’ll be back :D“
