The other two places I went to by my apartment were closed evidently. Nice to find a place that's actually open that says it is open. (800am Sunday morning). Thank you!

Dietary restrictions: Very easy to eat here if you’re dairy-free. Had a good amount of options

Phenomenal coffee and pastries (especially the chocolate croissant!!). I usually get intimidated with new, smaller coffee shops because I really don't know much about coffee and can find it overwhelming trying to find what I may like but the girls behind the counter were super friendly and the coffee was DELICIOUS. The setup of the cafe is really cute with lots of little tables that seem popular for co-working - Happy I found this place!

Ascend is truly a community hub and gift to me and many more. Their quality is always consistent and service always on point, but I think what really makes it special is the amount of moments I've had connecting with the staff, my friends, and the regular customers. Whether you are thinking about stopping on your way through or are looking for a place to frequent and be known, Ascend will always be my #1 recommendation. Truly my favorite place in Indy!

Menu is very simple but the coffee is amazing. Might actually be the best coffee shop in Indianapolis.

Great experience with friends over coffee. Coffee was wonderful. One of the few local coffee shops that offers gluten free baked goods. Most people were on lap tops with ear buds. Cute place but had to ask the music be turned down so we could hear one annother unfortunately. Lots of room to sit in different configurations. Owner was there and was engaging with customers. Will go back.

I am an avid coffee drinker and have tried hundreds of coffee shops… but this is by far my favorite one. My husband and I are always greeted, served quickly, and even in the midst of business, everyone there is so kind. Also, our drinks are always on point. So thankful to have found this gem!

This place was really cute. However, taste of the espresso is a very dark Italian roast. I had a cortado with oat milk. My shot was a little burnt. The espresso would've been better if I had a latte but I didn't want that much milk. I'm only leaving a review for people like me to know it's not going to be a specialty espresso. Because I wish I would've known. Dark roast is not at all what I enjoy.

Great coffee and pastries! This apparently church affiliated coffee shop is a wonderful social hub.
