I would rate Bugambilias at 4.5 stars. The restaurant was small, neat, and clean. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was was not salty or greasy and had excellent flavor, which reminded me of good Mexican restaurants in southern California. The salsa was mild but flavorful and not salty. I didn't ask about medium or hot salsa because mild was good for us. This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurants in Indy. We tried a bunch over the holiday season last year and Bugambilias is our number one go to even for picky eaters. Everyone is always super friendly here and the food is always hot, fresh, and tasty.
We had the food truck out to two separate events in the last 2 weeks. After our first event, which had great success, I called to ask about a few "tweaks" and Jose was super open to suggestions, changed a few things around for the next one.
This past weekend they did our other event and it was a BLAST!!!! Everyone was raving about the food and quick service, the crew was super fun to have around!!!!! They will be my first call for any future food truck events!
