El Chivo Jaliciense Taqueria y Birrieria

The food tastes amazing I honestly hate giving a 3 star review but since they did their little remodel you barely get any dang food! I usually can't finish 3 whole quesabirria tacos from there but this last time they were so tiny and hardly had any meat on them. They were the saddest tacos I've seen in awhile. I'd def rather have better and more food than wall deco idk about other folks lol

Consomé was alright and the meats cooked well but like all the rest of the taquerias here in Indianapolis nobody seasons the meat. Super bland, not worth the $50 I paid for everything.

Their goat quesabirria is amazing. We had chicken tacos, steak tacos, and sides of rice and beans too, all great. Generous portions and the people running the place were so kind to my child.

We can’t wait to try more.

One today was very excited to try it due to social media hyping it up. It was a five star rating. Everything was so delicious. Even the loaded fries. My kid loved them and they’re very picky.

Literally just sat at a booth for 20 min and nothing. I called as I was sitting there and they came over and took our order then left 25 minutes later we got up and walked out because nobody came but they continued to serve everyone else in the restaurant. The individual kept saying it was the lady that works there refusing to serve us and with no explanation maybe they don’t like America Caucasian in this restaurant. 👎🏽

The cake and the birria tacos were very good, it was a good lunch, I highly recommend it 👍

Loved the birria noodles the most

Food was so flavorful and fresh! The complimentary salsa and chips was so good, the rest of the food brought me back to Mexico! So delicious! Will be coming back. The service was amazing, very warm environment. Definitely an underrated spot and it deserves so much more hype!

It was a normal experience and a slightly boring atmosphere. They need more atmosphere in the place and to be more concerned about the clientele that comes to consume them.

I ordered tacos, all of them were very delicious, the birria de chivo was very tasty, but I was massively surprised by the labio taco, probably the best I've ever eaten (I'm Mexican, I was born and raised in Jalisco).

Best authentic birria I’ve found in Indianapolis. I am from Chicago where birria de Chico is incredibly popular so to find this gem was a delight. They also have great Mexican breakfast options, tacos, burritos, and tortas. Try their horchata sometime! This place is great. Que Rico!
