There is no better quick flavorful meal in all of Indy. We've been coming to this place for years, brought friends along, and everyone loves. Their specialty is roasted chicken (hence the name) and although they gave all the other Mexican specialties on the menu, would bother. Get a whole chicken, with rice, beans, salsas, and tortillas, and go to town. You will not be disappointed.
I was in the neighborhood and am a fan of Mexican cuisine. So I roamed the businesses in the area. Someone mentioned this restaurant but had not tried them. A lomo taco of ribeye, onion, and cilantro for $4.09 caught my interest. A customer came in and quickly ordered the whole chicken meal. We talked and she had not tried but that one meal and loves it for her family. Although the server had limited English, she confirmed that the ribeye would be cooked well done. I was craving a breakfast burrito. They don't have one on the menu. But they made me one anyway. And it was amazing. I would have taken a picture if I didn't inhale it so fast. Took home their pickled vegetables too, and they were great.
