Firehouse Subs Reviews
I ordered an Engineer without onion.
I received an Engineer without onion and THREE mushrooms.
This has got to be some sort of joke, right?
One of these is the smokehouse brisket sandwich from beech grove Indiana at firehouse subs. The other is a club sandwich from jersey mikes in greenwood Indiana. Not that it matters where JM was from (btw the JM sandwich always looks like that weekly). Anyway this is the third time in three years that I’ve been ripped off at the beech grove location. Firehouse Subs Beech Grove is a chain restaurant with a unique concept, where a portion of their sales goes back to local fire departments. The interior is decorated with a firehouse theme, featuring a mural of a local firehouse and engine. The food is good, with large subs like the steak and cheese and club sandwich options. The club sandwich is made fully involved with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles on white bread with turkey, ham, and Monterey Jack cheese. Some customers find the hot subs worth the wait, and the flavor is fresher than other places. The staff, including the cashier and sandwich maker, are always super nice and go out of their way to make customers feel welcome, even making sure tables are clean after busy times. Sides include chips, cookies, and more. While some customers have experienced issues with DoorDash orders and minor cleanliness concerns in the dining room, the restaurant is still recommended for its delicious food and charitable cause, even if it comes at a slightly higher price. Parking is limited, but many find the experience worthwhile.
