My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to George's Neighborhood Grill... the first of many visits to come. The friendly, welcoming ambience, to the delicious offerings, to the attentive service, it was a memorable dining experience from start to finish. Do yourself a favor: try the Avalon Chopped Salad or the Chicken Velvet Soup. I recommend both wholeheartedly!
Our bi weekly group dinner...George's has fluxed over the years from being a place we almost chose never to return, to a place which we are okay with...the food presently and the value and service are currently good...but it has been better and a few times worse.
This is truly one of Indianapolis’s best kept secrets. George’s Neighborhood Bar is the spot. I had the opportunity to experience their famous hand cut tenderloin sandwich and it was off the hook. Complete with fries and coleslaw I demolished that poor sandwich.
The restaurant has a good atmosphere. If you have ever experienced George’s- it is a definite must. Our server was Miranda and she was excellent.
