“I love going here for Oktoberfest!!!???This is my 3rd year in a row and I'm never disappointed. I mean, to be fair, it's a gravel pathed outdoor 'park' in the broadest of descriptions but I love it. I'm considering becoming a member of the Klub so I can get the perks! Can't wait till next year... Oy! Oy! Oy!“
“Probably some of the best brewery food I've had. The menu is simple and straightforward and features items that pair well with beer. You order at the counter and take your number to your table. My friend and I both ordered the Guggenburger with fries. The burgers came out super fast and were fantastic! The beer cheese put it over the top. And I LOVE a breaded fry and these were perfect. I saw someone order the pretzels (which I also considered) and they were massive. Now that I know the beer cheese is so good, I know what I'm ordering next time!“
“A hidden gem for hearty, German food and plenty of beer ?We ordered the pork schnitzel and the bayrischer schweinebraten as our entrees with the spatzel, potato pancakes, green beans and fries as our sides.Pork schnitzel was crispy and easy to eat with a fork and knife. The bayrischer schweinebraten was juicy and featured a rich gravy. My favorite air was the potato pancakes! Think of a thick, hashbrown with savory onions in it. Then they had a fresh, minced apple sauce for it if you wanted it sweet. Super refreshing. The fries also were thick as a finger and seasoned. They came out piping hot!Meals also came with a cup of the house soup ---delicious! It was mildly sweet with pickled sauerkraut and small bits of sausage.ATMOSPHEREInterior like a pub with cozy with wood walls and decorative steins on the walls.SERVICEWe were seated right away on a Tuesday night for dinner, and service was fast and friendly.Parking: Drive through the park, long driveway to the very back. There is parking specifically for the restaurant there.Kid-friendliness: This is more of a pub atmosphere.“
“Traveled to Indianapolis with my wife for our anniversary and stopped by for a beer and dinner. I have to sadly walk away knowing I can't come back without traveling almost 8 hours, but I'd damn well almost do it. The food is phenomenal, with each dish offering something unique to enjoy, whether it's a deliciously sweet brown gravey or a savory mushroom sauce on schnitzel. Please do yourself a favor and try this place!!!Dietary restrictions: Ask for an allergen menu, and they have a separate sheet to explain each menu item. It'll be labeled for lactose and gluten restrictions!“
“This place has been around for nearly 50 years, so I just had to see it! If you're claustrophobic, it might be too difficult for you to visit, but if you love looking at lots of interesting things, this is the place for you! I am a gnome collector, and I found one to add to my collection. There are hundreds! The best part was the food. We weren't in a hurry, so we had time to sit for a while and wait for service. What a surprise! Best food I've had in a long time! And don't forget the cake. Not too sweet, and absolutely delicious! Ask about the cash register. It's an antique twice over. And check out the bathroom. The next table over defined it as "entertaining." ☺️“
