This place is awesome!!! The food is great, the staff amazing and it feels like a comfy place to eat. Everything I've tried there has been awesome!
The food is beyond delicious! I've tried multiple items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The ribs, rib tips. Chops, brisket, fried chicken, and fried catfish are all delicious! The cabbage, collard greens, Mac & cheese, French fries, and cornbread are perfectly delicious.

Placed an order for the signature fried chicken & asked for 2thighs & got 1thigh and 1breast charged my card for $2.00 for up charge on the other thigh and I didn’t get what i asked for. Nobody answered the phone it’s been on hold over 5mins came from Mccordsville for this. Corn bread was burnt and dry. I usually never have any issues until today.

I haven't stopped thinking about this meal since I got it. The food is incredible. Bacon wrapped, smoke meat loaf is life changing. The sweet potatoes were out of this world and the peach cobbler makes me believe in a higher power.

This hidden gem is incredible, so is the staff!! The Grilled cheese brisket sandwich is the best brisket sandwich I've ever had!!! Get it when you can, it's not always on the menu! So much other good food and dessert also. Great price, food, service, and quick!

Everything was soo wonderful. Food arrived very fast and it was hot, tasty, seasoned extremely well. Service provided by Damon was superb. He was very attentive and stayed on top of it even during the busy time of the day when we went at 6pm. I forgot to take pictures. I just dove straight in.
I had the combo Smothered Pork Chop and Catfish with Corn and Green Beans.
He had Smothered Pork Chops with Mashed potatoes and Candied Yams.
Daughter had Catfish Po Boy with the Corn.
Everything was wonderful and very tasteful. We will be returning. The service, the venue and atmosphere was very welcoming.

This place is mid at best. We ordered off Doordash so I can't speak to the environment or atmosphere. But the food, damn this food needed seasoning BADLY. First off I got the Buffalo Catfish Po boy and it was very disappointing. It tastes like food and that's about it. No seasoning on the fish at all. The greens were good and the Mac and cheese was decent but those Candied Yams YUCK. They had some liquid around them that was overly sweet and for me just not good. I was born and raised in Texas and for me this was underwhelming for southern food. If some people like it good for them but for me I would definitely not order from them again.

We dined in today and our server was Tina. She was very friendly and effiecient. The chopped brisket sandwich and collard greens were phenomanal and brought out piping hot. My friend got the turkey manhattan and the serving was enough to feed two adults!!! AND how about the sweet potato cheesecake. OMG!! His Place Eatery is a hidden gem if you've never visited. You won't be sorry
