Not as good as Chicago &Suburbs Lew's. Something about the tomato sauce & chunks is not right. And service is lousy. But still very good deep dish. Be sure to order butter crust. Well worth a visit in spite of poor management. Malnatti salad was great, and exactly like Chicago.
I love this pizza joint. We always love to come sit outside and we always have great service. It is clean and a great location by the broad ripple canal. Just know if you want deep dish pizza you have to wait a little longer for your pizza to come out but it is worth it! Plus their appetizers are delicious while you're waiting. I wanted a certain entree one day and they were out and for the inconvenience I was offered a dessert!

We usually get pizza, but last time we were there I saw some pasta meals that sounded delicious, so had planned in advance to order our pizza to go (as we live too far away to frequent, we stock our freezer as to enjoy Lou's on a more regular basis).
