Mousetrap is a unique place with diverse crowds, from hippies to socialites. The atmosphere is chill and welcoming, especially for solo visitors. The staff is friendly, and there are fun activities like karaoke, trivia, darts, and pool. Despite being a dive, the food is delicious and the drinks are cheap. The food, including the famous stew, is consistently good and better than regular "bar food." There is a larger parking lot off of 56th St with an additional entrance, making parking convenient since most traffic comes from that side. The venue hosts a variety of live music and events, such as killer live music, bluegrass jam on Sundays, trivia and karaoke on Mondays, trivia and jazz on Tuesdays, open electric "fam jam" on Wednesdays, EDM on Thursdays, and regional and local bands on Fridays and Saturdays. Family day events have also been introduced, allowing families to enjoy live music together. Overall, Mousetrap is a great spot to catch up on sports, have a drink, enjoy lively entertainment, and experience a welcoming environment.
