For what I spend at a fast food joint, I had what I can only describe as a very upscale dining experience. Seating is limited so be courteous and make a reservation so you aren't disappointed.
The fries are to die for! My kids loved the Mac and cheese and crepes. My steak frites was ordered medium but arrived charred on the outside and very rare on the inside. I'd have sent it back, but our visit was taking a longer time than expected. My husband's salad came without dressing on it, but the server took care of that. The bread was delicious but the crust seemed a little burnt. Overall it was a good visit and we would come back.
Petit Chou is easily one of the best spots in the city. The vibe is charming and cozy — it feels like you’ve stepped into a café in Paris, but without leaving Indy.
I ordered the Croque Madame and it was incredible. Perfectly crisp bread, rich béchamel, and that sunny-side-up egg on top just made it next-level. Paired with a glass of champagne, it was everything I didn’t know I needed.
