Rick's Café Boatyard is a popular restaurant, especially during holidays. The menu offers a variety of options, including steak egg rolls, pork chops with collard greens and sweet potatoes, seafood fettuccine, fresh oysters, stuffed grouper, crab cakes, and the Beef Short Rib Grilled Cheese. Customers praise the beautiful setting with a view of the sunset and reservoir, and many enjoy dining outside in great weather, although outdoor seating is limited to the bar area. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, featuring great lighting, good music, and a friendly crowd. The food and service are consistently praised, with guests recommending the steak and lobster tail, goat cheese dip, and highlighting the nicely seasoned chicken with rice and beans. The restaurant has been recently remodeled with new windows and flooring. The food is known for its great presentation and wonderful flavors, including well-cooked steak and soft, succulent seafood. Despite some mixed reviews on certain dishes, the overall vibe of the restaurant, along with the attentive service, makes it a pleasant place to unwind with a glass of wine and good company.
