About The Garrison
The Garrison Reviews
Celebrated my husband’s birthday on 11/13/22. On previous visits to the restaurant, the food and service has been excellent. On this particular day we were there for the brunch, and had a different experience. There were a total of 16 of us, and we experienced the food being cold, even though there were not many people in the restaurant. Our waiter was nice, but it was so disappointing that the food was at best Luke warm, and not equal to their pre-pandemic quality.

The Garrison is a well-known restaurant that serves exceptional food, including its renowned fried chicken dinner with two sides, featuring crispy skin and tender meat. The restaurant offers a wide variety of choices, including a salad bar with three surprisingly good soups. The ambiance is beautiful, with a sprawling complex and lush garden views. While some diners may be disappointed by the reduced choices and lack of gluten-free dessert options at the Sunday buffet, the service is generally excellent and reliable. The Garrison is a pleasure to dine at, making it an ideal destination for families and foodies alike.
The restaurant is currently closed until at least November for remodeling, but customers are hopeful to try it in the future. Customers have been attending the restaurant for years, and one customer even had a wedding reception at the indoor premises when they were a kid. The location on the golf course is beautiful, and the weekday lunch and dinner options are affordable at $12.99 per plate in the front diner. The Sunday brunch, which runs from 11 am to 2 pm, is $17.99 per plate and is served in the back ballroom with a beautiful view of the golf course. The food is consistently excellent, with a variety of options, including omelets, a waffle station, and a carving station with prime rib, salmon, and ham.
The ambiance is described as a traditional government country club vibe, and the service is generally excellent, with one customer praising their server, Cyndi, for being attentive and accommodating. While the Mother's Day brunch was described as chaotic and poorly run, the customer appreciated Cyndi's efforts to create a positive experience.
