Burger King in Lafayette

“My favorite sandwich is the classic chicken crispy wrap, and I also like the junior whopper it's just the right size for me with some fries. I really like that they have small size sandwiches for people like me who can't eat big meals. The inside was ok, but the building is kinda of surrounded by the parking lot on each side. It would've been nice if it had some plantations.“

“Every time I go here I get great service in the drive thru early in the morning or late at night staff is friendly food is correct and usually tastes great. This most recent time thru I believe the assistant manager Jon was at the window and was quick friendly and offered salt ketchup or a crown!“

“A significant update from my review of six years ago...

Saw the drive thru line was long so decided to go inside. Waited 5 minutes or so for someone to acknowledge me, while a line cook complained about wages loud enough for the restaurant to hear, and another person, who observed me but did nothing to offer assistance or take my order, or even acknowledge me, disappeared somewhere to the back. The busies person there (Mandy), finally made her way to the counter and I expressed my frustration. She apologized - and I note here, quite sincerely - after which, she offered to give me a Hershey Pie as a consolation. My order was then produced reasonably fast and when I left and got home, I opened my bag to find a complimentary order of Chicken Fries, as well.

I prefer BK over most other FF options when I need a quick bite or just to refuel. Unfortunately, customer service - and an understanding of how it drives business - is sadly missing, not only for BK but FF as a whole. And other places we spend our money as well. There are significant economic arguments for this, which I will not share now.

What I will share is that Mandy immediately grasped the situation, saw the opportunity for what it was, and acted on it in a positive enough way such as to prompt me to take 15 minutes of my time to update my review to something more positive than my last, some six years ago.

To Mandy's peers and employer: Please learn from this. What Chick-fil-A does is not hard. It's actually quite simple. A friendly face, quick acknowledgement and resolution of issues and ensuring that when a customer leaves, at the window of from the dining room, they feel better leaving than they did when they arrived.“

“The food is great ?, and the place never gets crowded. Clean atmosphere, but I had to give it a 4 star ? because the employee forgot to ask me if I wanted some dipping sauce for my fries and chicken fries. Fries aren't too tasty without any dipping sauce.“
