Stopped in on Friday night around 6:30. Surprised that we got right in, as most places are packed at that time. We were greeted right away, the staff was very friendly. Ordered our drinks, soda for me and the hubby had the Tavern Zwickelbier. We asked what was good and the server suggested a few things. Greeted and seated promptly. Drinks ordered. Ordered food. Took in the place. Nice layout. Bar is not too busy looking, but inviting. Food came out hot and delicious. Wife had the pulled chicken and apple slaw,and german potato salad. I had the bratwurst sandwich and red potatoes and carrots side. For dessert , had the iras dream bar sundae. Omfg. This is one of those great neighborhood places. The menu is short, but the food is really good. They have a German sausage sandwich that I like. I also discovered citrus hop water their drink menu. Definitely give that a try.
