“This is hands down the best food I've eaten in the past 20 years of being an Indiana resident. I've tried many things over the years from here, and everything has been great! Lately I've been getting the Hamburger Steak with Potatoes and Toast. It isn't greasy at all.I eat here every day for the past 4 months. The food is delicious, and made well, and is affordable and priced well. The only hesitation I have in giving it such a great review, is because I'm scared more people will go there, and it will be harder to be served with increased patronage, but if any place deserves it, this place does.If the owner happens to read this, if you ever consider opening a second location, please consider around the area of Indianapolis blvd and route 30. I would be so happy if we had a Toast and Jam closer to us.“
“Our first time there. Waitress, Lisa was very pleasant and engaging. I ordered the Back of the Yards skillet... Very good! My wife ordered a bacon/cheese omelette... She was also very satisfied! Opens at 6 am. Very clean and lit well. Saw a group of 9 local police officers there having breakfast together... Nice to see them enjoying a meal as a group! Highly recommended! And ask for Lisa!“
“Talk about these pancakes best pancakes. I've had in a long time. We came from Chicago to this place and it was well worth the trip. Nothing bad here at all. Good food. Good Service, OK, the coffee was weak.But that was about all coffee.“
“This is one of my breakfast go-tos. The food is great and so is the service. I ordered carry out. I got the Sophia’s omelette minus ham but extra sausage with American cheese. I got grits instead of hash browns and an English muffin. The omelette was huge. I believe they are 5 eggs. They weren’t skimpy with the ingredients either. They have a huge selection of breakfast and lunch options, so practically anyone can find something that they like. I will definitely be back.“

I can't remember coming across a server/waitress that was so genuinely friendly. Please have the manager of the Merrillville location personally walk out and thank Tuesday for being such an amazing employee. She truly was a delight!“
