This is my 1st. Time trying,and I'm not disappointed. Everything was so amazing and flavorful. I was very happy that All the food was good and fresh. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to try some good food for the first time or for those who has had it before!! If I can give 100stars I will. But it's a full five for me.

ROOKZ KITCHEN offers VERY TASTY African food with great serving portions. The owner is nice, professional, and the food is spiced perfectly. Customers are satisfied and keep coming back for dishes like jollof rice with suya (spicy beef), okra soup, egusi soup with goat and pomo, and pepper soup. The restaurant in Merrillville is a small business run by a wonderful woman, Ms. Rookz. The Egusi with goat meat, pounded yams, fried plantains, and whiting fish were all delicious. The meat pie is so damn good with a crispy crust. Customers recommend paying with cash or debit at this establishment. While some find the plantains less soft or the meats a bit tough, the flavors are authentic and the portions generous. Overall, Rookz Kitchen is a must-try for those craving authentic African cuisine in the area.
