Ordered a ribeye steak medium. It came to me so overcooked I had to send it back. The second steak although cooked properly was one of the toughest pieces of meat I have ever eaten. Don't order a steak from this place.
We are from out of town and this was a terrible experience at the Stevensville, MI location. We asked for a kid's menu 3 times before we got one. Food came and my daughter's steak was over cooked (well done when ordered medium) so we sent it back. At the same time my son didn't get his side of mashed potatoes. Texas Corral | Steak House offers pretty good food, service, and environment. It is a tradition for some families to come eat here every year, enjoying blooming onions, burgers & fries, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, filet mignon, shrimp fajitas, and surf & turf. The sweet tea is good, and many recommend the Baked Potato’s. Great customer service and great food are noted, with the entire staff being very welcoming and friendly. Some meals, like the Chicken Fried Steak and sirloin, were a little over cooked or dry, but the flavor was still enjoyed and issues were handled graciously. The ribs were a little on the dry side as if they were old, though the mozzarella sticks and quesadillas were good. Some experiences had a hostess who looked confused and service that was not very personable, resulting in an overall okay experience. The ambiance is familiar, and the staff, including servers like Charles, are polite and attentive. Remember to support local eateries.
