Cute little hometown diner in the middle of nowhere which is very convenient. I only had the biscuits and gravy but they were excellent and sausage patties were top notch. I noticed the kitchen was extremely clean and the staff was very attentive and friendly.
Right now this is my favorite little area breakfast and lunch spot. Its about 8 miles away for me so I don't go often, but I've enjoyed it each time I have. Years ago I went here when I lived closer to it and I was in high school. That was in the 70s. It doesn't looks a lot different though they certainly have worked at replacing carpet, upholstery and tables when needed. This is NOT fine dining. This is NOT an old-fashioned diner. This is NOT what someone thinks a diner was like 70 or 80 years ago. This is a diner that has been operating for a very long time. The food is great. You get to eat in a historic place. It's worth it.
