“You'll be glad you stopped. Wonderful little roadside diner. Quaint 'home town' experience. The place hasn't changed much at all in 50 years. The food came to the table piping hot and in a timely manner. The service was very good, cheerful and attentive checking on us at regular intervals but not too frequently. Don't drive by if you're hungry.”

“Whoever rates this place lower than 4 only eat American food and nothing else. The only mere issue I get is the cheeseburger is a bit crispy but that's fine, most of the time it's quiet, but when not, the vibe kinda becomes worse, but womp womp I guess. Would recommend, wait time only becomes long during the busy days. I also love the fountain drinks. Also, this place is best enjoyed with about 3-4 people”

“I was passing through town and found this place via Google search, and I'm glad I did! The staff is wonderful, warm, and friendly (Zara, my server, was excellent!). Even the owner was happy to stop and talk about culture and cuisine. I had a few pieces of a la carte sashimi and then a sushi/sashimi combo. All of the fish was very fresh and properly sized. I would have like to see a bit broader offerings (kizame, ama ebi) that were on par with the quality of the fish, but overall I was very happy and the prices are reasonable. Be sure to try the red snapper soup!”

“I just bought my first loaf of sourdough bread and it was fantastic! I got the olive/lemon loaf. It sounds like an unusual combination but the taste was very subtle and is amazing toasted. Also, it was a very large size.”
