“I was passing through town and found this place via Google search, and I'm glad I did! The staff is wonderful, warm, and friendly (Zara, my server, was excellent!). Even the owner was happy to stop and talk about culture and cuisine. I had a few pieces of a la carte sashimi and then a sushi/sashimi combo. All of the fish was very fresh and properly sized. I would have like to see a bit broader offerings (kizame, ama ebi) that were on par with the quality of the fish, but overall I was very happy and the prices are reasonable. Be sure to try the red snapper soup!”

“Rise ‘n roll is a good place to pick up donuts or dine in and have a casual meal. I have never had a bad thing there. For first timers, you need to try the cinnamon carmel donuts. You should order a dozen, it will be worth it! My favorites are the chocolate covered cashew crunch candy. Lots of things are offered here jams, deli items, cinnamon rolls, noodles, the list goes on!”

“We were in Middlebury to have warranty work on our RV. Decided to try their pizza on Tuesday. It was delicious and a good price! Since it was so good, we decided to try the wings the next night. They were different than what we have in NC. We like ours cooked where the skin is crispy. Not sure how these were cooked but had to pull the skin off. They should probably cook them in an air fryer to get crispy then add sauce. Would not recommend the wings but the pizza was delicious!”
