I was passing through town and found this place via Google search, and I'm glad I did! The staff is wonderful, warm, and friendly (Zara, my server, was excellent!). Even the owner was happy to stop and talk about culture and cuisine.
I had a few pieces of a la carte sashimi and then a sushi/sashimi combo. All of the fish was very fresh and properly sized. I would have like to see a bit broader offerings (kizame, ama ebi) that were on par with the quality of the fish, but...read full review
Very good food, decent portion size, good value. Attentive waitstaff. The Dynamite roll was tasty and huge. Bento boxes were very good, as were the gyozu.
