I'm writing this review because I want Vanilla Bean to be the best ice cream place it can be. Its ice cream is AMAZING and the prices are great but there's a huge flaw...what on earth are they using for whipped cream?? Whatever it is, it definitely isn't the real stuff. It's some sort of cool whip that doesn't feel like it'd get cold if I left it in a freezer overnight. I don't care if you all have to raise prices 50 cents or something just please...
Went and tried the Gluten Free Dairy free options today. I had Mint brownie which I thought was okay and also the lemon cookie and that one was so delicious. Couldn’t even tell it was gluten and dairy free. Will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try new flavors. Thank you so much for having the gluten free and dairy free options available!
Vanilla Bean Creamery in Mishawaka, MI was a great surprise. The ice cream was rich, flavorful, and you can tell they don’t hold back on quality ingredients. I tried the pistachio flavor and it was absolutely packed with real pistachios , not just a hint of flavor like many places do. Every bite had texture and a genuine pistachio taste. It’s refreshing to find an ice cream shop that doesn’t cut corners and actually loads the ingredients into their products, it's cream...
