Drove from out of town to check Whistle Stop out. Caitlin was awesome! She was friendly, sweet, attentive and respectful. Food was delicious. Loved the decor and the trains going through the restaurant. Very clean!!! Didn’t go to the museum side, a little pricey for a ticket. I believe if you eat at the restaurant you should get a discount on the ticket.Overall it’s a great place to visit!
We were driving thru the area and decided to stop for a break from our travels.This was an interesting place to have a meal. We enjoyed all the train memorabilia and our food was good.My husband had the country fried steak and really enjoyed it. I had the burger and fries. Burgers are 1/2 pound, so I couldn't finish it, but it was very good. We will stop again when we are in the area.

Our tour guide was absolutely wonderful and really made the experience great. Really neat things and he explained it all to us and really engaged with the kids. He was very knowledgeable about trains and you could tell he really liked them. Food at the restaurant was normal family diner food. They have trains that run up above you and they even have little animals and people in the train cars! There are also trains to look at outside. Highly recommend you check it out too!
