Whistle Stop Restaurant Reviews
I have never been disappointed with anything I've ever ordered from there especially the ribeye dinner. 🤤😋
I took a field trip here with my school Railroad Club. Joe was our amazing tour guide who was so knowledgeable! Lynette was our server and also coordinated our trip. Service was outstanding! The nicest and most accommodating staff! Such a neat collection of railroad memorabilia that you can’t see anywhere else.
We had a great time! Even went on a tour after lunch ! Our tour guide was Joe and he was just a delight ! Thank you so much for keeping the history alive!

Based on the reviews, Whistle Stop Restaurant offers a fun and charming atmosphere with train attractions, model trains on suspended tracks, and multiple train cars to explore, making it a great place for train enthusiasts and kids. The food receives mixed feedback. Some dishes like the baked potato with everything and pulled BBQ pork are recommended, and the BBQ pork nachos were noted as good. However, other meals such as the chicken strips dinner and a bowl of chili were described as average with little flavor. The quality of the food is not what it was a year ago for some customers. Service is generally good but not exceptional, with one waitress being on her game while another seemed preoccupied. Portion sizes are ok but not great, and prices are decent. Parking is a big problem for wheelchair accessible vehicles with not enough handicap spaces. The wait for food can be almost an hour if there are large groups.
