Story Inn is a unique and spooky place, perfect for a getaway. The beds are comfortable, and the breakfast basket is a nice touch. The dinner at the restaurant was incredible, with excellent food including homemade dishes like chicken salad on crispy croissants, chili, Reuben, homemade chips, and Story Burgers—each one delicious, crafted by a talented chef. The downstairs bar offers a pleasant atmosphere, good music, and cold beer, making it a great spot to relax. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Visitors can also tour the upstairs accommodations and the remaining original houses in Story, which are available at reasonable rates. The property has lovely gardens, and the quiet setting allows guests to disconnect, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, hike, and indulge in the tasty food and beverages. The history in this place is just amazing, the food and the tavern downstairs is amazing also. Stone walls great atmosphere great bed-and-breakfast! The staff was super welcoming and the fine dining meal was superb and so fresh- several menu ingredients coming directly from the garden.
