“We found this place while visiting the casino and it deserves all the hype!! We're alway looking for diners when we travel and this one has hit the top 5 of that list. The building is from the late 1800's and has been Vic's cafe since 1969!! The waitress is fixing to celebrate her 25th anniversary with Vic's an isn't that something and so is this place. Because you can smoke In there still ya have to be 21 and over to enter- to us empty nesters this is fine and the food is great!! It hit all my ol man's home runs, biscuits gravy, tater tots and canned Diet Coke - he hates fountain - the decor is still probably from who knows when and it's fantastic!! I can't hype this place up enough! The food was delicious and for 2 meals and drinks 25 bucks!!! “Great neighborhood bar with pretty good food and a nice patio when the weather cooperates. The bartenders are nice and served us promptly. We grabbed a couple beers - they have a decent local selection on tab and they're all $6.50. We took a look at the menu and decided to try the brusell sprout special, fries, and the spicy chicken wrap. The brusell sprouts were our favorite; they were paired with a sweet Thai chili sauce. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to grab a drink and hang out.“
“A speakeasy dive bar with some of the best beers in the world. Sergio is a great host and tons of beer knowledge that he loves to share with others. It's a definite "must go" if you appreciate good beer. If you're the Bud Light kind of person, this is not your place. If you want to try a beers from around the world, this is your place.“
“What's not to like? Lots of specials throughout the week (Sunday discounted wine, Monday all day happy hour) plus have events like tastings and music. Lots of fun stuff to try, my only quibble is every time I've tried the empanada the dough has been dry but it is a wine bar“
“Went to meet a friend, and found out they do salsa dancing and Karaoke. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very attentive. The only negative I could find was in the lack of items. You could have either a Nathan's hotdog, or you could have it with chili. Prices for food and drinks is very reasonable. Definitely a spot to check out.Kid-friendliness: Do keep in mind that this is primarily a bar, so you won't see any kids around.“
“Stopped on a Saturday night. They have a great beer selection. I opted for Atrium Kolsh. He got a great burbon from the wide selection. It was a great night to sit on the back deck under the heaters. Spacious seating inside and outside. The staff is friendly and helpful, even on this busy night.“
“I'm going to admit that I did not even know that this place existed until we stumbled upon it after a night out to eat. We wanted to grab another drink somewhere so we just randomly walked in a direction and this place looked interesting so we wanted to try it out! I love the atmosphere of dive bars and they tend to have nicer people there so I was excited to try it!When you walk in, there is a wall of screens on the left all filled with people playing various video games. We went up to the bar, and the bartender was welcoming and friendly and got us our drinks right away. There wasn't a ton of places to sit in the main bar, but I also didn't venture anywhere else in the bar to see if there was additional seating anywhere. But either way, we hopped on a screen to play some video games so we were perfectly content without a table. We had so much fun here!And after reading some other reviews, I realize that there was a whole other floor that we didn't even know about! I would've loved to play some other games, so I will definitely make it a point to get up there next time.“
“Just went in for drinks and to look around, so can't speak to food. I had a Bourbon concoction that was delicious. The bartender and server staff were very friendly and upstairs is a museum with lots of interesting history. Check this place out if you're in Bardstown.“
“It's a bar ladies and gentlemen. The customer service was really good the drinks that was prepared for my friends also really good. The food was a little bit saltier than normal for me. I myself just took in the atmosphere just to see how a bar has been since the last time I was here which was about 10 years ago. It's almost about the same but you'll definitely find good people good find security is a nice touch to make sure that you're coming into a very safe environment.“

“Some places are awesome for the opposite reasons of regular places. MagBar is one of those places. This place is like the CB/GB of Louisville. It is non-apologetically metal AF. “I love this little spot. Growing up, I knew the previous business as well, and I'm glad to see another great dive bar has taken it over. This is my go-to for a whiskey sour because they make it with the egg white (the correct way), and their drinks are always strong, delicious, and reasonably priced. The decor is great as well. Staff is nice, and there is generally a very chill vibe. I will be back.“
“Dive bar DNA cold beers a little smokey the weak need not apply Walked in and the 4 at the bar turned and greeted me with that look you give your neighbor if they were to walk in to your living room, uninvited, and change the channel. It was cold, and perfect. We instantly bonded as i get it. This IS their living room. I don't want to offend by giving stars to a dive as I think they prefer to fly under the radar (read no stars is best) but this crew probably doesn't read a whole lot. Great dive and I mean that as a 6 star compliment“
