“Only stopped in briefly looking for food, but the kitchen was closed. It was late, so no biggie. It looked like a fun place to be! Sweet karaoke set up, plenty of seating and things to do. The bar tenders were friendly. It's worth a second trip to hang out a bit longer“

“Attended the Old Forester Legendary Bourbon Series event last week hosted at The Root by The Earl. What an amazing job The Earl team did organizing this tasting! Having Jackie Zykan leading us through the tasting of these amazing bourbons was the best! Mara is a rockstar. Scott Dickinson, Chef of 1816 in Corydon prepared wonderful dishes to pair with the bourbon. One of the best bourbon tastings I’ve ever attended. ????????“

“We were traveling & used the Google map for good food. Found this place.
There were two entrances. One was closed, so we went in from the other. The first thing we saw was a bar. Then, we saw a food counter in the very back. The girl working hard for the pickup orders told us to take seats and take our order. We walked into another section of the building. A wall was dividing the bar from the food (the closed front door directly leads to this section) Once she was done with what she was doing, she brought us water and the menu.
I wanted biscuits & gravy, but I was told they serve that only on breakfast time. We ordered the pork steak sandwich and the Vic's burger. The pork steak sandwich was fantastic! The Vic's burger was very very good but can't say fantastic.
We would go back to this place if/when we travel near by.“

“I spent about three years hearing about how good this place is before I visited it. With that in mind, I went in thinking there was no way it could meet the lofty expectations thrust upon it by my friends and family. I was right.Somehow this place managed to exceed all of my expectations. From the delightful and attentive server, to the delicious food as pictured here. Visiting America is always a journey for my stomach, and Tumbleweed was my favourite food stop on this trip. The environment doesn't immediately give off cozy vibes, but once seated it's easy to feel like you're the only table in the room.If I could give the service more than five stars, I would. My glass was never empty, and he never came around in that awkward phase right after you take a bite which was very nice. The chips and queso make for an warm up session for the meal. Overall, I am very much looking forward to returning here again, and making it a regular spot for myself and everyone I can drag there with me.
Kid-friendliness: The inclusion of a kids menu is a wonderful touch, and kept ours entertained throughout the whole meal. The staff were very nice to her as well.“

“As Schnitzelburg residents, we love the history of our neighborhood and we were excited to take our kids to Hauck's Corner. It's eclectic. It has garage doors, street signs, stained glass lamps, bead-board ceilings, exposed brick, little nooks with corner tables, upholstered chairs, retro bar stools, light up beer signs, and a fun fabulous patio that almost gives off Lynn's Paradise Cafe vibes but offers a lot more. The patio has cornhole, a playground with slides and swings, chalkboards, mist to help beat the heat. It's huge. It's colorful and has a unique energy unlike anywhere else I've been in Louisville. There's a food truck outback and the menu is extensive. The service was friendly and efficient. I ordered a basket of crinkle fries, described as being served with a malt vinegar aioli and roasted garlic aioli. Also, pork belly tacos with slow roasted crispy pork belly, avocado crema, Hauck's sauce, pickled red onion, queso fresco, and corn tortillas. I ordered macaroni and cheese for my side. I did not get roasted garlic aioli, but tried another when I inquired about it. The truffle aioli was phenomenal. The macaroni and cheese was outstanding and the pork belly was crispy. I tend to find it flabby and the texture unappealing, but these were delicious. I ordered a glass of Prosecco. It was refreshing, cold, but maybe a bit less bubbly than I'm use to. I'm hyped about this place and having it in our neighborhood makes it a potential spot to be in our regular rotation. I can't imagine it not coming to mind now that we're having cooler patio nights with the changing seasons. This is perfect spot to get together with friends, for celebrations, or even playdates. When it comes to being both kid and adult friendly, Hauck's Corner is a one-of-a-kind experience.“

“One of the beds burgers in Louisville. Really good crispy fries. Atmosphere is laid back and then some. Service was friendly but could have been a little more attentive. Minor complaint. It’s a great place to go for a burger and a beer. I will return.“

“15 years of excellent service. Great atmosphere, food and fun. The bartenders work hard to give you great service. The owners are as real as they come. They don’t just make you feel like friends, they make you feel like family. Enjoy the music, games, drinks, food and the real connections that will keep you coming back!!“

“I live very close to here and my kids like to go over just to run around.. there is tons of open space and seating on the covered patio n outside area. I have eaten at Jeffs doughnuts, Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers (I haven't eaten here since Bunz has moved to this location but Im quite sure its the same delicious food) and all 3 are super delicious. Jeffs doughnuts is kinda pricey.. for a doughnut i mean and Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers has very reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. I will for sure be back to try all of the other restaurants.“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“Service is quick and they also have a bar where you can try whiskey tastings. They are limited on staff though as the server had to also be the bartender. Surprised more people weewnt working as so many people come to the museum. Hot brown that I had was good for my first time trying and was good for the price, around 8 bucks.“

“We dropped in last minute without a reservation. The Manager located two seats at the bar for a cocktail & a bite. The bar tender provided us 3 menus (set menu for the evening show, cocktail & food). We were in town for the bourbon trail and wanted to try this bar tenders specialty drinks. He made a classic Old Fashion and a drink he called Rye’d or Die. The Old Fashion was delicious. The Rye’d or Die ( a take on a classic Old Fashion) is absolutely out of this world. A must cocktail !
The set menu Spare Rib was plentiful, dry and very fatty. Mashed potatoes were delicious, miniature carrots tasteless.
The bar cleared out just prior to the 7 pm show next door with everyone exiting within 5 minutes. We thought that someone may have said “FIRE” the placed emptied so quickly. We were literally the only 2 patrons remaining in the entire restaurant.“
