I've been coming here since I was a child and I'm so glad they made it through the pandemic. The food is very good. I love it but some people I've went with say it's a bit too sweet. The family who owns it is very friendly. They have a decent sized selection. They actually have sushi on the buffet which is surprising for a small town buffet. The food is good and filling and Mings has been a New Castle staple for years. I'm so glad it's an option!
Always a favorite, no place like it!
Love, love, love this place. I eat here almost once a week. Food is good, fresh buffet!
Ming's Garden is a popular restaurant known for its delicious and varied menu. The crab Ragoon and banana pudding are standout dishes, and the popcorn chicken on rice is a must-try. The restaurant offers a wide selection of beef, pork, chicken, and seafood options, as well as sushi. Desserts such as cream puffs, chocolate cake, and pudding are available, although some reviewers found them to be less impressive. The restaurant is known for its fresh and tasty Chinese classics, and the staff is always friendly. Prices are reasonable, with lunch for two costing around $30 or less. The fried wontons are highly recommended, and the food is generally fresh and decent. However, some dishes can sit in the buffet and become cold and hard if not eaten quickly. Guests note that visiting around 5 pm ensures the food is fresh and continues to be good. The atmosphere is clean and respectful, making it a good place for families to enjoy good Chinese food. Parking is available in a strip mall shared with multiple businesses, including Rural King, with plenty of space. Overall, Ming's Garden offers a satisfying dining experience with a variety of vegetarian options to suit different tastes.
