“Seriously some of the best bar food I’ve ever had. Their wings are nice and crispy with the right amount of sauce. It’s a great place for underground music for metal heads too.

My only gripe is the lack of AC, gets quite exhausting sitting in there with that heat, however, I’m quite impressed with the filtration since you can smoke inside.“

“I'd heard this is the best pizza in New Haven, so I decided to give it a try for lunch today. When I called in my order the gentle man that took my order was really nice and welcoming and patient being this would be my first order. My order was ready at the time I was told it would be and again the staff was even more friendly in person. When I picked up the box it was heavier than I thought it should be for a medium pizza. When I made it home and opened the box, this pizza had more toppings than I have ever seen on a pizza and it was delicious! I will certainly be back again. The only thing for me is the cigarette smoke makes the place smell bad, but I can definitely deal with that long enough to carry out a delicious pizza.“

“some of the best prices for pub food ive seen. even better that the food is actually super good. $15 pizzas make it not-so-unaffordable to try out two different pizzas with just a party of two. flatbread options for about $8 also make that an option. our waitress was super friendly and helpful, a real good vive at 07 pub. still cant believe how cheap everything was.

“Stopped in last evening for a quick bite to eat and our waitress took us to our table ...who's name was Caitlyn... (possibly a K not sure). But we had the BEST customer service that I have had in as long time. She was so Sweet and checked on us continually. She also suggested when I wanted a wrap...that I didnt have to have it with Buffalo sauce could get it just plain with ranch. When she bought the food she said, "Would you like an extra side of ranch". I thought that was so kind. Then when she bought boxes to the table for our left overs she bought a lid for my ranch and a sack to Carry our containers in...ALL without me asking. I asked for the manager to come to the table for her to be recognized for her impeccable customer service!! He said, " He appreciated me bringing that to his attention". I made sure she got an excellent tip for her Kind , caring and quality customer service. BUT I ALSO THINK SHE DESERVES A 5 STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating here as well. Most of the time these days you dont get that kind of customer service...so when you do it needs to be reconized!! Thank you again Caitlyn on a job well done!!“

“Yes we recommend for the drinks but there was no food specials. We tried happy hour and the Facebook posting said they had food specials but when we were actually there they did not. They said it was old advertisement that couldn’t be removed. We were disappointed that we went there for happy hour drink and food specials but there wasn’t any actual food specials.“

“One of my favorite bars when I go out with my friends or my girlfriend. the food is good especially their breaded mushrooms and it's just a nice relaxing atmosphere. they have pool tables and darts and I like going when they have karaoke and John is there doing it.“

“I've been going to this rustic old place for almost 15 years, laid back and friendly. It's been a great place to grab a beer,wine or lite bite to eat since 1895. Still has the original bar stand and alot of the original wood. This bar will take you back to the past.?“

FOOD
The duck ragoon appetizer or something I didn't know I needed until then. It comes piping hot, and totally worth burning your mouth for --please be careful! The inside is molten goodness with small bits of duck. It comes with a sweet chili dipping sauce and the outside has a thick crunch.

? For pizza, we ordered two 10-in regular crust pizzas to share. One was the Porky Pig and the other was the Bahn Mi. Porky Pig was our favorite of the two. The Bahn Mi did actually taste like the Vietnamese sandwich, but beware, there are little bits of jalapeno on it so there's a kick. The only issue was that the toppings on the pizzas had a hard time staying them as we had to tear the slices apart.

The next day though, cold leftovet pizza out of the fridge though was superb.??

I also got a cup of soup: Irish Stew. I felt like it might have been under seasoned.“

She was super friendly and knows the menu well and was ready with suggestions for us. The Veggie Burger was phenomenal, as were the green bean fries. The atmosphere was diverse and welcoming. Everyone from the staff to the other guests were super chill and friendly. We stopped on our way to Michigan to catch the Super Bowl, which was being played on so many tvs I couldn't even count them all. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone passing thru the area or to anyone local looking for a good local bar to make their "local".“

“I don’t think the bartender ever told us his name but he was so friendly. We went out for my 21st and started at Corners, ended up crossing the street since it was getting loud. Pulvers has a nice, chill vibe. We all ordered the Lana Banana which was amazing. There was a woman bartender too and she was also nice and made small talk. “Me and my friend went in to give this place a chance and let me tell it was the best thing we could have done !!! I got the beef shawarma and my friend got the chicken shawarma . “This place rarely fails. The service was spectacular. The salad bar is famous itself, but the steaks did not disappoint. I ordered the coffee crusted Ribeye, and my wife ordered the filet. Both were full of flavor and very tender. My only critique was dessert. They brought out the creme brulee, and the top was perfect, but the bottom was warm and very runny. So runny that the area you just took a spoonful from filled back in. Great flavor but disappointing texture. We mentioned this to our waitres, and she apologized, but nothing else was done about it. My wife ordered a martini and loved it. I tried the ultimate margarita with Don Julio, but it was not good at all as even though i stirred it, it was all tequila and nothing else. Overall, it was still a good experience.“

“I'm only rating based on having the loaded tots at a birthday gathering. Tots were pretty good, just didn't deliver on the first item listed in the description: beer cheese. Other than that, lots of other cheese, delicious, and large portion. Our waitress was great, she and the kitchen were just way overloaded for our party size, and they knew we were coming. Craft beer offerings were decent, but I'm a craft beer nut so I'd push them to have a little more availability especially with their location, nice atmosphere, and the popularity of craft beer. Speaking of the atmosphere... It's modern, clean, well appointed inside. I gave it 2 stars because it was so unbearably loud, and that was almost entirely our party's noise, not even the music or a band. The space is crying out for some sound dampeners.“

“I’ve always loved Henry’s since I discovered it in the mid 90s. While they’ve changed over the years their service and quality have only increased. My only one sad regret is that since the pandemic they haven’t brought back the fresh seafood bar on Fridays and Saturdays! This was always an exceptional treat.“
